Fake news and false info wrt the conflict in Ukraine is not difficult to find... The US MSM floods us with it and there is a gaggle of shills who appear to be hell bent on flooding this forum with it.
This little collection of links provides a pretty decent flavor for what is actually going on.
We Sure agree. That is if someone is looking for the truth, not lies and propaganda!
I've been listening to them since February. Know how you can tell they speak the truth? 'Cause everything they tell us later turns out to be a fact.
Now contrast that to Biden, the deep state and the MSM propaganda machines (along with their unhinged Freeper supporters).
-Ukraine is winning the war (after losing 20% of its territory)
-Putin is dying of cancer (not)
-Ukraine's offensive is about to take Kherson (been waiting for a month now)
-Ukraine is killing a Russian general a week
-Zelensky only needs another $5 billion, and he can win
-The US DID NOT instigate the Maidan revolution/massacre in 2014 for regime change (ask McCain who was there)
AND NONE OF IT TURNS OUT TO BE A FACT.
Get the picture??
RE: The governments and leaders of Russia and Ukraine no more represent the average people than Biden and his DOJ/FBI represent you and me.
Ok, what does the average Ukrainian want regarding the Russian invasion?
During a war, a person would be a fool to follow one side of the story.
This provides the Russian side. Other present the Ukranian side. You need to read both and filter out the absurd. In all of them there is some truth.
Then you need to put on your common sense and experience goggles.
You are definitely right it is one side, the pro Russia/Putin side. Not surprising. In April I was given a list of probable Russia trolls and Pooty Pals. The person who posted this list was on my April list. Also there are now at least 5 people whom I have on these lists commenting at this post. That usually happens when one of the pro Russia/Putin Comrades posts a new article. Of course pro Ukraine people also post new articles and have friends show up too. All’s fair in love and war.
Everybody is “pulling for” the average Ukrainian. The problem is some kind of negotiation could have earlier saved many Ukrainian lives but the U.S. is using Ukrainians as cannon fodder to push their globalist political agenda. They want to fight Russia to the “last Ukrainian.”
The real situation is exactly the opposite of that. If you want to make the effort you can read and look at endless reports, pictures, and videos from the field in Ukraine.
You can look at drone video, first person video, and see what the soldiers themselves post. You can see the destroyed equipment, the burned bunkers, the funerals, and if you want the dead bodies and the injured.
Telegram and Twitter posts from Russians and Ukrainians in the conflict areas provide more information than was ever available before. You can use machine based translation tools even if you don't speak or read Russian and Ukrainian.
Here is an example. A first person description of a recent HIMARS missile strike on the pontoon bridge near Kherson with video.
Use Google Translate if you don't read Russian.
If you watch the video, and look at the images, and read the comments of the Russians who survived the attack you will know for yourself that the Ukrainians can hit the pontoon bridge. You won't need to believe some talking head, and you won't be stuck believing the propaganda.
Ganamead should move to Russia.
You were doing pretty well until you got to the Russian propaganda you seem to believe.
I wish we could read an article and have a reasonable discussion about the article—but like most every thread on FR it usually devolves. I must admit I have been guilty of that.
In terms of facts I have a simple question for you. What happened in Bucha? Did the civilians get killed by the Russian soldiers?
Let's hear your answer.
That is possible between the people who are not just here to post Russian propaganda and talking points.
I have noticed how those people never want to answer questions about their own opinion, or discuss an article. They are good at hurling insults and repeatedly posting links to Russian linked sources however.
“ Are you posting commercial links here? Why?”

I believe you meant to post that to ganeemead instead of me.

No, the link in your post 4 was to a SoFi advertisement. I just wondered about that.
Here is the Stanford Internet Observatory Report on GRU online operations.
Ok, what does the average Ukrainian want regarding the Russian invasion?
My Ukrainian family and friends, average Ukrainians, want the Russians out. They want their sovereignty. They want their freedom.
They also want to see Putin hang.
My “negotiations” do you mean allowing Russia to keep the areas of Ukraine they invaded in exchange for peace?
Would we let Russia keep Texas? (I won’t use CA as an example, haha)
But the credibility of all that becomes suspect in that one must believe in a war zone, all access to internet has not been destroyed.
Why would that be so? Phones need cell towers. Trivially easy targets.
There are zillions of telegram snippets of Russian weapons smashing Ukraine equipment or people. If one were to try to do a numerical comparison of how many of whose equipment is shown destroyed, one’s numbers depend more on internet access than video total.
Your family and friends need to ask the US and NATO to return their sovereignty (i.e. those are the ones who took it in 2014). Russians don’t have their sovereignty.
So a pro-Russia troll tells every one where the truth lies. Good One! LOL
