Tudor Dixon, Gretchen Whitmer Debate Pandemic Response, Mandating COVID Jabs for School Kids in Michigan

Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said she doesn’t support “requiring the COVID vaccine” for school kids after being put on the spot by Republican gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon during their debate on Tuesday night.

“I want to be very clear about this. This is a parent’s decision. There will never be a mandate for the COVID-19 vaccine for children to go to school in a Dixon administration,” said Dixon, who has made Whitmer’s leadership during the pandemic a key issue in the election race.

The question, raised during the debate, comes after the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a recommendation that COVID-19 shots be added to the list of required immunizations for school children.

Dixon, who told voters Whitmer “will likely push” the shots on their children, said she was “anxious to hear what Gretchen Whitmer has to say because was forcing the vaccine on people.”

The Republican candidate reminded voters of Whitmer’s “MI Vacc to Normal” program, which she said called on Michiganders to get the people they know jabbed in order to “get your liberties and freedoms back.”

“No, I do not support requiring the COVID vaccine for children,” Whitmer said in rebuttal before proceeding to defend her measures in the face of the pandemic.

Whitmer imposed controversial and strict measures on Michiganders during the pandemic, some of which she herself broke.

“We made quick decisions to save lives, and studies show we saved thousands. I am proud of that,” she added. Whitmer Accuses Dixon of ‘Sowing Conspiracy Theories’

The incumbent Democratic governor accused Dixon of “sowing conspiracy theories” during the pandemic.

“While I was getting death threats, saving lives during COVID, my opponent was sowing conspiracy theories. She was saying that kids couldn’t get impacted, no need for masks, she even said that vaccines carried the mark of the beast and government trackers,” Whitmer said, referring to the Beast of Revelation in the Bible, said to be identified by the number 666.

She added: “If she had been governor during COVID, thousands more people would have died.”

Dixon rejected Whitmer’s accusation, saying that she wouldn’t have been vaccinated “if that were at all true.”

“The governor is being dishonest once again, but that’s what you do when you don’t have policies to run on, when you killed more seniors than almost any other state, when you were told to stop the policy, but you kept it going,” Dixon responded.

Whitmer issued an emergency executive order at the start of the pandemic to isolate infected senior citizens at extended care facilities in a designated wing. As the infection spread, many residents and care workers died.

According to a report by Michigan’s auditor general, Whitmer’s administration undercounted nursing home deaths from COVID-19 by 30 percent.

Given the limited testing and quick development of the jabs, we have no idea of what the long-term effects will be.

Remember Thalidomide and Agent Orange?

Sometimes it takes years before the side effects of quickly developed drugs appear.

How many clot-shots have you taken, all five?. Take another one because it will improve your thinking.

So you are saying the side effects of new drugs can be completely known right up front? No surprises?

Perhaps it is you who should try to improve your thinking.

slowly the truth comes out...

26 Oct: news.com.au: ATAGI didn’t know about heightened risk of myocarditis in young men until five months after Pfizer, Moderna approval
The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation has revealed it did not know of heart risks until five months after approving vaccines for use.
by Alex Blair
The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) has revealed it did not know about the heightened risk of a heart condition called myocarditis from Covid vaccines until five months after they were approved for the public...

The revelation raises questions over Australia’s vaccine mandates considering the risks associated with both Moderna and Pfizer jabs – which were highlighted by the health body...

The dossier points out the risk of heart issues in young males is higher with Moderna than with Pfizer...

The AstraZeneca vaccine is also associated with an increased risk of myocarditis and pericarditis, however ATAGI says the risk “appears” lower than with Moderna or Pfizer...

An admission from a Pfizer executive about the company’s knowledge about the vaccines’ effectiveness in stopping transmission – compounded with the ATAGI’s new response to increasing numbers of myocarditis in young people – have added fuel to the fire for those opposed to the government’s public health measures...

A poll conducted by news.com.au on October 22, showed more than half of the 50,000 respondents regretted getting vaccinated, or were unvaccinated and happy with their decision...
Not a single person said they were unvaccinated and regret the decision...

The Australian Government’s Health website now states Australians “maintain the option to choose” to get vaccinated against Covid-19.

Interesting is it not?
Democrats seem to get death threats over every issue. Thousands of death threats over the course of a year. At least that is what they tell us.
But the funny thing is, I see more physical attacks on Republicans, MAGA Americans & conservatives, many more than I see on Democrats, Progressives & other loons.

Good Lord you are making my argument for me. Right in your statement is the reason that this experimental genetic technology should never have been forced on billions within months of being developed. You make leftist moonbats seem normal and intelligent in comparison.

Hang your head in shame.

I warned that we cannot know upfront the long-term side effects of new drugs. Which is to say people should NOT BE TAKING THIS DRUG.

Can you read?

‘Speed of Science’ — A Scandal Beyond Your Wildest Nightmare
It was never about science or protecting others.

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

The premise behind COVID shot mandates and vaccine passports was that by taking the shot, you would protect others, as it would prevent infection and spread of COVID-19

In early October 2022, during a COVID hearing in the European Parliament, Dutch member Rob Roos questioned Pfizer’s president of international developed markets, Janine Small, about whether Pfizer had in fact tested and confirmed that their mRNA jab would prevent transmission prior to its rollout

Small admitted that Pfizer never tested whether their jab would prevent transmission because they had to “move at the speed of science to understand what is happening in the market … and we had to do everything at risk”

We’ve known for well over two years that the shots were never tested for transmission interruption. In October 2020, Peter Doshi, associate editor of The BMJ, highlighted that trials were not designed to reveal whether the vaccines would prevent transmission. Yet everyone in government and media insisted they would do just that

It was never about science or protecting others. It was always about following a predetermined narrative that sought to get experimental mRNA technology into as many people as possible

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

It’s been decades since Michigan had a one-term governor, now would be a good time. We came so close 4 years ago to be a completely red state and could be there again if voters believe the do-nothing GOPe will get off its RINO ass this time and quit acting like half of the uniparty.

I maintain that the dems are not the better party, they have destroyed the nation, unimpeded, right on schedule. The reason we got our political asses kicked four years ago (MI) was because of the inactions of the RINOs, deep state, elites, establishment, turncoats, assistant democrats, traitors, back-stabbing, lying, swamp things, crooks, thieves, scumbags, Marxists, republicrats, globalists, democrat lite, and uniparty types that masquerade as high standing members of the GOP.

IMO we are in the mess (states and federal) not because the rats are more popular and do a better job, but the GOPe cannot draw voters anymore because of the inactions of the worthless party.

The days of the lesser of evils is over, it is the republicans last chance to perform as leaders in my substantial lifetime. The fact that the GOPe completely failed and sold out to the dems during Trump’s tenure was the last time this will happen. Voters will not turn out again.

Walz in MN also put COVID patients into nursing homes. Everyone always forgets to put him on the list of murderers. Even Scott Jensen his republican opponent doesn’t ever bring that up.

The Swine Flu vaxx was pulled in ‘77 after causing fewer than 3 dozen reported deaths and 500 reported injuries.

Why is human life worth so much less now?

On the nursing home thing...

Trump had his admin change the regs in March of 2020 to permit nursing homes to refuse CoupFlu patients if the facilities needed to do that.

Why did governors order patients sent them back anyway...?

And why did facilities that could refuse thanks to Trump take back the patients?

Wanna bet governors issued threats of increased scrutiny, inspections, regulations?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Agreed.

Being suspicious of the government--and with good reason--whenever they're pushing something with potentially dangerous consequences, I run in the opposite direction as fast as I can.
