Just a few days after U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced he would pull his Senate Leadership Fund PAC out of New Hampshire on the 25th, two polls showed the Republican candidate surging into what is now virtually a tied race.
According to an Emerson poll released Monday, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Gen. Don Bolduc has surged five points since last month and is now down only three points — 45-48 percent — to incumbent Sen. Maggie Hassan.
Moreover, according to RealClearPolitics, pollsters historically underestimate GOP turnout in New Hampshire by 5.4 points. So if that ends up being the case this time, instead of Bolduc being down by an average of 3.6 points in the poll of polls, he’s actually up 1.8 points.
Either way, that seat looks winnable … and McConnell’s fleeing?
Why?
Obviously, the super PAC ads combined with an overall national GOP surge helped Bolduc.
Why pull the rug out from under him now? And it’s not just McConnell fleeing.
(snip)
McConnell is spending about $9 million to defend pro-impeachment Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) from Trump-endorsed challenger Kelly Tshibaka, who is leading in the polls by a slim margin.

Mitch has the interests of the CCP, not America!
Money and Politics—Risky Business.
Ds spent big bucks supporting MAGA candidates assuming they’d be easier to beat in a general election. They’ll get Kari Lake and superb bunch of others for good measure.
Mitch— on the other hand— refused big bucks for fellow Rs who also may win in a bunch of contested Senate races.
Strangely but beautifully asymmetrical.
We can only hope the topsy-turvy continues with a new handful of R senators grateful to Rick Scott’s senatorial committee who’ve jumped in finance the final media pushes where Mitch refused.
.
Yes, credit to Rick Scott here.

Chicom bought and paid for McConnel is a traitor, nothing less and nothing more.
What a lying Chinese owned back stabbing snake.
In March 1967, shortly before the expiration of his educational draft deferment upon graduation from law school, McConnell enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve as a private at Louisville, Kentucky. This was a coveted position because the Reserve units were mostly kept out of combat during the Vietnam War. His first day of training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, was July 9, 1967, two days after taking the bar exam, and his last day was August 15, 1967. Shortly after his arrival, he was diagnosed with optic neuritis and was deemed medically unfit for military service, After five weeks at Fort Knox, he was honorably discharged.
As one who actually served honorably, and happened to spend just short of 4 years in uniform during the Vietnam war, I have little respect or trust for anyone who so adroitly flim-flams such a serious commitment.
One thing I have heard told to me was that Bolduc said if he wins the Senate seat, he would NOT be voting for Mitch the Bitch to be Senate Majority/Minority leader.
Apparently this, as well as Bolduc being a MAGA candidate is what Mitch has his panties all up in a wad about.
He absolutely wants to lose in New Hampshire. He also wants to lose in Arizona. He’s pulled funding from both in order to protect a RINO running against a MAGA Republican in Alaska.
To all those who tell me I simply have to vote for a RINO instead of a Democrat....no I don’t - and I won’t.
You don’t understand. This is a fight for the soul of the Republican Party. We must have a real opposition party in this country. That is why RINOs must lose at all costs. If that means sitting a race out and letting a Democrat win so that a RINO loses....so that we can get a MAGA Republican candidate next time, then so be it.
Mitch rhymes with Bitch. He is not a patriot.
Good attitude!!!
But, instead of sitting out the election, go and vote. There are MAGA candidates down ballot that need your support.
As for the republiCANT candidates, vote third party.
Then go home and sleep soundly, because neither the republiCANT or the democommie got your vote
Oh understand....while I may sit out one race if a RINO gets through, I definitely will vote for all the MAGA candidates.
If Bolduc wins it looks like Mitch the Bitch doesn’t have the votes to retain leadership.
Mitch would get the same treatment as the leftists I would have rounded up if I was in charge. His chi com wife, too.
Mitch is putting money in the wrong places. He is propping up the GOPe candidates with money, such as Murkowski in Alaska, when it is almost assured that one of the Republicans will win so no need for funds there. And, he withholding money from conservatives in close races in swing states in addition to not giving them verbal support.
McConnell doesn’t want the GOP to win the Senate.
Mitch had polio, so how did he get into the military?
As I've been posting recently:
I think Mitch McConnell will cripple the "Red Wave" before the mid-terms.McConnell fancies that his special skill set is deal-making. In a divided Senate, that has worked well for him, convincing both his own party and the Democrats that he's the person to be dealt with. He's blind to the notion that the Democrats have him figured out and they can manipulate him into making deals favorable to them. Just look at how eagerly McConnell turned the Treaty Clause of the Constitution upside down to help Obama get his Iran deal through the Senate. And then look at how Schumer rolled him on the reconciliation bill/infrastructure bill. And don't get me started on how McConnell always takes a government shutdown off the table every time the Debt Ceiling comes up in the news.
Anyway, if reports of a Red Wave are true and that the Senate could possibly go 55-45, then McConnell's special "deal-making" skill becomes irrelevant; anyone can lead a near super-majority.
If McConnell really believes that a super-majority is in the cards for the GOP, then he would be willing to cause the most fringe of those candidates to lose in order to keep a slim majority that needs his "deal-making" skills to survive, in his mind.
That's why McConnell is pulling the funding from "bubble candidates;" he thinks if they could lose, he can still be the power-broker that he used to be with a smaller majority. A larger majority will put too much pressure on McConnell to deliver a GOP agenda instead of compromising on a Democrat one, and might encourage a challenge from the right.
It's all about McConnell and his power, and not about doing what's right for the American people.
And don't forget that with a small majority, this gives oversized power to people like Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Mitt Romney, just like it did for Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema. McConnell needs flakes like them to give him the fodder for deal-making. With a majority that can withstand the defectors, they lose their power to influence.

McConnell you stinking slob
“Mitch had polio, so how did he get into the military?”
Wouldn’t than have made him 4-F right off the bat? He never would have been passed through the induction center.
