Veteran Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward on Monday called former President Trump’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic a “crime” because he kept early warnings about the health crisis from the American people.
“If there was ever the leadership test of a lifetime for the president, it was this pandemic. It was a health and political crisis like we have not seen in this country. And he walked away from it. And as you listen to these tapes, particularly on the virus, but on any subject, he kind of goes from denial to concealment to the crime,” Woodward said on CNN’s “Tonight,” referencing clips of interviews with Trump taken from his new audiobook.
“I call it a crime, not telling the people that he had been warned that — by his national security advisers in the most vivid way, which is outlined in these tapes, the interviews with them, where they are telling him,” Woodward said

Covid was/is nothing but a new strain of flu, which I remember Trump intimating early on that it was likely to be short-lived. He may have been correct about that and under control until deep state grasped it as a means to influence elections. It shall never die now.
He also suggested myriad treatments which are now known to effective, but stymied by the CDC, Fauci, et al.
Trump’s sin was deffering to medical “experts”.

Riiiiight-— Trump closed our borders to China flights and much else in late January 2020. To which Nantzi Pelousi responded by saying “ come to Chinatown San Fran— it’s Chinese New Year and it’s safe!” (on video saying this and condemning Trump’s swift actions to protect the USA from what is NOW KNOWN as a Chi-Com created BIOWEAPON, intended intially for Taiwan to warm up an invasion there).
Woodward is beyond PASSE’, he thinks people listen to him because— Watergate (which was an op that exposed the whore wife of John Dean -with her photo still in the DNC whore order book, taken in the burglary. This fact is WHAT turned John Dean for the dem monsters against Richard Nixon who did NOT run the op, but was loyal to the people who did— as a major flaw.Should have flipped on them, and flipped on Dean right away). The entire Watergate thingy was to get back at Nixon for all of his successes in exposing Alger Hiss and many other Communists from the FDR/Truman admins since WWII.

But...from the very beginning of the Wuhan/CCP virus outbreak I have wondered what President Trump and other world leader knew or thought they knew and didn’t tell us. To shut down the economies of the U.S. and Europe; something very scary must have been told to them. And as far as I am aware, no one has spilled the beans.
Remember the flight from China with the ‘flight attendants’ dressed in ‘moon suits’ The special isolation chamber on the plane for anyone with symptoms? The first mandatory quarantine in the U.S. for half a century?

To Woodward (still trying to be relevant) the fact that Trump gets out of bed each morning is a crime.
These people have jumped the shark. No one is paying attention to them except the party faithful at WaPo and NYTs. They are still waiting for Trump and all his family members to be placed in a jail cell with the Jan 6 political prisoners.
Our job is to vote in two weeks and select GOP candidates all the way down the ticket, even if we have to hold our noses while doing it.

The one weakness Trump has is he talks to people he shouldn’t.
Trump believes he can win anybody over. He can’t. If he cured cancer he would be accused of hating nurses and doctors.
He should NEVER talk to certain segments of the media except to savagely attack them.
