Veteran Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward on Monday called former President Trump’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic a “crime” because he kept early warnings about the health crisis from the American people.
“If there was ever the leadership test of a lifetime for the president, it was this pandemic. It was a health and political crisis like we have not seen in this country. And he walked away from it. And as you listen to these tapes, particularly on the virus, but on any subject, he kind of goes from denial to concealment to the crime,” Woodward said on CNN’s “Tonight,” referencing clips of interviews with Trump taken from his new audiobook.
“I call it a crime, not telling the people that he had been warned that — by his national security advisers in the most vivid way, which is outlined in these tapes, the interviews with them, where they are telling him,” Woodward said

““I call it a crime, not telling the people that he had been warned that — by his national security advisers in the most vivid way, which is outlined in these tapes, the interviews with them, where they are telling him,” Woodward said”
Yet Trump chose to give this guy 20 interviews.
Trump was shutting down our borders while the democrats were saying everybody go to China Town.
Woodward must have forgotten, surely, that Trump imposed a travel ban on China against the wishes of Fauci, who thought it was unnecessary.
And Woodward must have forgotten that Trump followed the advice of government experts on disease epidemics.
And Woodward must have forgotten all the emergency initiatives Trump launched on his own.
Surely, it was forgetfulness and not sneaky, backstabbing, cold malice.
And more people died under Biden in a shorter span of time. This guy is a buffoon.
I did not think this Leftist jackass could sink lower that whale dung in my esteem, but he has done even that.
A blast from the past.

From the article:
“In the days and weeks before New York City implemented a virtual shutdown in early March, city officials urged their constituents to go about their daily lives without fear — and even suggested that concerns about the burgeoning coronavirus pandemic were rooted in anti-Chinese animus.”
It got a little hot in the kitchen NYC health commissioner Dr. Oxiris Barbot and she resigned in August 2020.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Top U.S. health expert Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Monday that President Donald Trump listened to his advice when he recommended that mitigation efforts be taken to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Trump unfortunately did exactly what he was told.
Bob was an old man when he snuck past CIA, Police and hospital security, so he could interview the Head of Reagan’s CIA for several hours, while he was on his deathbed, with a few hours left to live. He should have retired from writing, many years ago.
Bad news for this cat is that Fall’19 then Winter-Spring-Summer-Fall 2020 is still fresh in everyone’s memory banks! Everyone with half a brain remembers most of it and especially how engaged Trump was every! single! day! Pushing for Hydroxychloroquine as hard as he could and getting shot down by a storm of liberal bs to not use it. I could go on for pages here...but I wont. I’ll keep it short: FJB!!! LGB!!!
And yet, the US statistics on cases and deaths are completely in line with most other Western democracies. Almost as if it was a worldwide problem, unleashed by the Chinese, and the effects were felt across the globe. Given Joe Biden’s track record, there is no doubt that we would have been far, far worse off if he had been squatting in the white house when Covid hit.
Woodward is a CRIME.
LIAR.

Great article.

I thought he was dead?
In hindsight I think Trump should have fired Fauci and not supported the lockdowns nor the operation warp speed for a vaccine. Trump got fooled and let himself be rolled. But he was no criminal like those actually pushing mandates.
Thanks for the good news reminder.
Pelosi actually went to China Town in SF and hugged and kissed people on the sidewalk.
I think that was suppose to dramatize that Trump was a cowardly racist.
Please go get your 3rd booster shot Boob, I mean Bob.
