This isn't over yet. The Colorado baker is still tied up in court years later. Lefties never, ever give up.
The most amazing part of that lede was “A California judge has ruled in favor...”
And you know d@mn well that, since it is California, there are plenty of bakers who will do such a “wedding” cake. This baker is being specifically targeted because they are a Christian who won’t bow to their idol.
How can these same-sex idiots ever going to survive when neither of the idiots know how to bake a cake. If they can’t do that, there’s no way they can cook meals.
The hobby shop where Mr K (not the one on this forum) buys his modeling supplies is in the same complex as Mr Phillips’s “masterpiece cakes” (https://www.masterpiececakeshop.store/).
You know, they can always take the cake to some other place to get their obscene weirdness attached. That’s what Mr Phillips told them to do and they $hat themselves.
It’s like....the cake isn’t really.....that important..... hmmmm.....
Haha, maybe marriage isn’t that important to them, either! :D (And in fact, it’s not. And you should see how ugly some of them “marriages” get when they start to fall apart. Something stinks right from the get-go if causing a problem for a cake vendor is more worth it than having a sane, timely, fun, memorable celebration. And when they get divorced, it stinks to high heaven. If there are any kids involved, it’s always like the worst thing you’ve ever seen. Think “lesbian seagulls” Sarah and Jennifer Hart who drove off a cliff with their six adopted kids in the car. Just reading fortunes over the phone I’ve heard some hair-raising stories about same-sex couple breakups that never make the news.)
Anyway, you can bet if I was a professional cake-baker I would be in business about two minutes. (Not because my cakes are bad; they’re actually pretty good. But I would throw jerks like that out of my place and then I would spend the rest of my life in court.)
Is it still legal to put a sign in your establishment that says “we can refuse service to anyone”....? Yeah.
Regardless, the Gaystapo will now harass patrons of the bakery, threaten its suppliers, post fake negative "reviews" on social media, and continue with the death threats to the owners and employees, which will only tepidly be "investigated" by law enforcement before the case is closed.
I know for a fact that many more bakers and wedding merchants have sympathy for bakers of conscience like this, and do not want to involve themselves in a controversy which may destroy, or diminish their business. But it's time to take a stand. These one-off bakery objectors make easy targets being so isolated and alone. But is an entire FIELD of bakers did the same, and supported each other, the story would be much, much different.
Same sex couples really do love their cake.
Can’t get over the overwhelmingly supportive comments at the article. Has America finally had their fill of whiney, self-entitled toggafs?
While I think this is good news, and that there might be some semblance of sanity returning I’m also concerned that the baker will show up to a smoldering mess where their bakery used to be. As the left doesn’t like to be told “no”.
