The investigations surrounding Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh’s “Healthy Holly” books aren’t the first time a politician has run afoul of public opinion (and possibly the legal system) because of a book.

However the current "scandal" over Baltimore mayor Cori Bush just highlights (again) the hypocrisy and duplicity of the left when it comes to lawfare.
And enforcing the law.

Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh got a huge advance to ghost write a childrens book, and then make it required reading in Baltimore schools.

Of course, compare her actions with those of any major Clinton or Obama employee ...

John Rowland was a Republican, who got in trouble for other things. Patty Rowland was his wife. I get the impression that the mouse book wasn’t any big deal, just something piled on top of other charges, but this is the first I’ve heard of it, so I could be wrong.
Don’t forget Jim Wright’s book deal is what brought Newt to power.
