Hundreds of thousands of people in central and western Ukraine woke up on Saturday to power outages and periodic bursts of gunfire, as Ukrainian air defense tried to shoot down drones and incoming missiles.

Russia has intensified its strikes on power stations, water supply systems and other key infrastructure across the country, the latest phase of the war as it nears the eight-month mark.

Ukraine's air force said in a statement Saturday that Russia had launched “a massive missile attack" targeting “critical infrastructure,” hours after air raid sirens blared across the country. It said that it had downed 18 out of 33 cruise missiles launched from air and sea.

All of you jackoffs cheering Russia and wishing the United States to be “kicked out of Europe” are sick in your heads.

When he's right he's right. It's virtually meaningless to compare "Defense spending / GDP in dollar terms" when all the terms are a joke. So what is an F-35 "worth?"

Where Disney is worth more than total Russian titanium production, for one example out of thousands possible.

In a real world where "in Dollar Terms" has become a bitter joke.

Don’t get me wrong, I have consistently said on this site that Russia is the wealthiest nation in the world, by far.

Their wealth is intrinsic.

And the target of coveting by the whole world.

But we are still buying F-35As for $78mil a copy.

“All of you jackoffs cheering Russia and wishing the United States to be “kicked out of Europe” are sick in your heads.”

There is not much substance to your snide comment, as usual.

I’ll say it again. FR is the graveyard of deranged supporters of a dying empire, a Fantasy War Mongering Club for the infirmed. You’ve failed as a human being.

You are a pathetic mangy old man, vicious and rabid, yet toothless and decrepit. All you can manage on your own is to slouch in your chair and lash out in frustration as your view of the world is rejected and collapses around you.

It is you who should leave, to wherever anyone would have you.

Except the US launches hundreds of precision guide missiles at a time. Not a dozen. A couple dozen missile attacks across a country the size of Ukraine is not “massive.” It’s pathetic.

Despite the obvious fact Ukraine has absolutely no air defense, we have idiots here claiming Ukraine is winning, Russia is losing and that there will be regime change in Russia.

I have no idea who is winning and who is losing, and frankly don’t have a dog in this fight. But it’s been what— going on 8 months since Russia invaded Ukraine. Hard to imagine the war is going how Russia planned.

It's all part of Putin's Master Plan to unite the Russian diaspora, so not a single Russian speaker anywhere is not represented by Putin.

New York City is next. The plan is to launch Iranian drones from New Jersey.

Thank you for reminding me of that.
The Russians were supposed to be out of a lot of things by now.
I really Im tired of sending billions to the Ukraine while we have open borders

The US is the most logical choice to destroy the pipeline.
Biden and others have said the US would.
Russia was negotiating with the Germans about gas when it was blown.
They are planning to repair it.
So why would they damage it?

A 90 year old guy come to a doctor, complains that his friends tell him that they have sex every night and he wants as well. Doctor says no problem, tell them you have twice per night.

You conflate anti-Americanism with anti-American adventurism. President Trump could hardly be accused of anti-Americanism for voicing his oppostion to Bush’s misguided, wasteful, tragic invasion of Iraq in 2003. Rather,PDT seems to have a dislike for needless and wasteful American intervention everytime the MIC and its’ political toadies want to fix other countries problems, ahead of America’s own. Its’ arguable the neocons and other warhawks are the true Anti Americans, because they divert so much limited resources to fight unwinnable wars and result in more American dead for average U.S mothers and fathers..

There are no American dead in Ukraine.

Trump supported military aid to Ukraine.

The importance of Ukraine as a strategic asset in the heart of Europe cannot be compared to the mistake of toppling the Iraq government.

Plus the importance of deterring the Chinese-Russian military alliance which is aimed at America.

And there in is the cause of American adventurism. Seeing other countries just as “strategic assets”. Putting aside that Ukraine is hardly in the heart of Europe. On the periphery more so And anyhow, if the U.S sees Ukraine as a strategic asset, how nuch more so would Russia, which borders the country, rather than 1000’s of km away. Russians meddling is at least based on proximity. The same can not be said for the U.S
