WASHINGTON, October 22. /TASS/. The US Army's 101st Airborne Division is ready to enter Ukraine in case of further tensions between Moscow and Kiev or an attack on a NATO member state, CBS News reported, citing the division’s command staff.
"We're ready to defend every inch of NATO soil," the division's Deputy Commander Brigadier General John Lubas said, as cited by the media outlet. Commander of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team Colonel Edwin Matthaidess, in turn, noted that his troops, deployed to Romania, have been "closely watching" the Russian forces, "building objectives to practice against" and conducting drills that "replicate exactly what's going on" in the war.
"In all, about 4,700 soldiers from the 101st Airborne's home base in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, have been deployed to reinforce NATO's eastern flank," CBS News noted.
"The commanders told CBS News repeatedly that they are always ‘ready to fight tonight,’ and while they're there to defend NATO territory, if the fighting escalates or there's any attack on NATO, they're fully prepared to cross the border into Ukraine," the media outlet added.

This is not the usual murderous quagmire DC generally blunders us into. In this CF not only would many American boys and countless locals be killed but my grandchildren, here in Kentucky, are very much in jeopardy.
The 101st has obviously been to Europe within the last 80 years.
NATO has always been on the border of the Russian empire and now what we call Russia.
Soon instead of bordering NATO for 754 miles, Russia will share about 1600 miles of border with NATO.

Trump reactivated V Corps and moved it to Poland, and currently, the 101st is manning its European headquarters.
They’re replacing 82nd Airborne, and some other units, who’ve been in Europe for some time.
You question a person’s loyalty because he has a different opinion that you. What seperates you from being a Biden Democrat? The are hopefully many opinions within the conservative family. The important matter is to form a workable concensus.

I do however have an issue with the current administration and the current crop in the Pentagon, being in control of the lives of troops, given what is going on in Ukraine.
There are some very desperate folks in DC.
As someone who stated he has a son in the 101st, it would seem you have not a cure in the world he’ll be deployed in defense of a non-NATO country to defend a corrupt little bastard like Zelensky.
