Comrade Putin has no interest in peace, unless NATO allows him to rebuild the Soviet Union through conquest with impunity.

The corrupted little beggar Zelensky has no interest in Peace unless Biden and the West allows him.

We shall see most assuredly a sudden change after the coming elections….” down to the last frozen Ukrainian “ is beginning to get very old with the Ukie populace.

Spending Trillions won’t cause Inflation, and Hunter has done nothing wrong his entire life.

My word as a Biden.

Great, another Biden apologist.

Meanwhile in the real world (as opposed to taking Biden regime comments with complete gullibility), the oligarchs on the Potomac have been undermining and scuttling diplomatic efforts at every turn.

If Putin were trying to recreate the USSR you'd have seen plain evidence of it in the first 20 years of his rule. It's laughably obvious that he has other priorities, neocon delusions notwithstanding.

Blinken making such statements only makes things worse (but this is the current administration’s policy)

A lot of Americans don’t know this, but Ukraine is right on Russia’s border. Literally on the opposite side of the globe. And the US govt. is arming Ukraine to kill them, having overthrown the govt. before this one.

(Heads up to you Ukrainians, or citizens of former Ukraine as it may be, every country that has gotten help from the US since WW II winds up totally destroyed.)

As an American, the best advice I can give to foreigners is, never, under any circumstance, follow the advice of Americans. You’ll be sorry.

Blinkin is merely an element in Biden’s 100% failure guaranteed teem. The entire team has to carpool brain cells in order to reach a two-digit IQ. Complete failure has been and will always be their goal. Thus far, they have met their goal. One could replace Blinkin with a failed vacuum tube and achieve better results.

Putin has to balance the ultra-nationalists who want to reestablish the Soviet Empire against the moderates who want peace and prosperity. If he were to engage in peace talks, he’d face a revolt from his ultra-nationalists. Right now, the other interests in his government have less power than the ultra-nationalists.

Also, Putin has to somehow keep the people from revolting. He has an internal security force which as I recall is about three hundred thousand. He could, theoretically send them to Ukraine as they are well armed, trained and already on duty. But doing so might cause them to overthrow him. Leaving the ultra-nationalists in charge.

Essentially, Putin’s hands are tied by the competing interests. By taking personal control he owns the war. If he retreats or loses, he’s finished.

Zelinsky is similarly tied. The Ukrainian nationalists want all of Ukraine back. This includes Crimea. There are other interests who just want peace at any price. But if Zelinsky wants to stay in power he has to win the war.

The war will stop when one side simply can’t go on. Or, when one side realizes it has been definitively beaten. A negotiated cease fire right now will only allow Russia to rest and recover. Meanwhile, the Ukrainians are rotating their front-line troops out of the fight every three days, according to one source. If so, it will be Russia who folds first.

From what I’ve gathered, it’s the US/NATO that are not interested in discussing peace.

The Military Industrial Complex has no interest in peace.

“...Moscow shows no sign of willingness to engage in meaningful talks, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken...”

And therein lies my problem with this Russia/Ukraine war. Why would Putin engage with the US to end hostilities?? The US has not declared war with Russia. Biden/Blinkin chose to take leadership in a war in which we have no dog. They are burning up US assets and bleeding this nation dry.

It figures a Trump hater like yourself would quote Biden regime SOS Atony Blinken.

Russia has consistently sought negotiation. It came to us in December seeking to prevent this war. All the Russians wanted was a guarantee of Ukraine wouldn't join NATO and be neutral and Minsk Agreement, which Ukraine signed, implemented.

Russia and Ukraine almost came to an agreement in March in Turkey before we and Boris Johnson killed the deal.

Russia will be happy to leave what's left of Ukraine so long as Ukraine agrees to remain neutral and leave Russian territory alone. But, the annexed areas are going to remain part of Russia. And, that is what the people in those regions want.

You, Blinken and neocons lie like they breath.

Only that they’ve asked for negotiation, shot down by both Biden and his bought and paid-for sock-puppet Zelensky.

Well that’s good news for the election. If Biden could pull a peace deal out of his derrière that could be the October surprise we are fearing. The only way I see that happening is the Ukraine would have to cede some of the disputed territories which would be a betrayal by Biden if that happened.

No disrespect to you, but, despite my pro-Ukraine stance, I’m not much impressed at all with the Biden Admin’s handling of this war, and Blinken is high on my list of “unimpressed.”

Anybody know what Minister Colonna had to say? If she backed up Blinken, I’d be more, well, “impressed” with Blinken’s statements.
