The consequences of a Putin victory will be global, including Taiwan and any other small country a brutal dictator wants to conquer.
So it's not "just Europe" -- if we stop, or fail to stop, aggression in Ukraine, that will serve as the pattern for other dictators.

The US could end our border problem tomorrow, if our leaders wanted to, but they don't, and so it will continue until we elect new leaders.
Really, really stupid is letting naked aggression win just because it changed its name from "KGB Soviet Union" to "KGB Russia".
