In a phone call with Ukraine's president this month, US President Joe Biden pledged continued solidarity with Ukraine as it battles Russia's military invasion and illegal annexation of Ukrainian territory.
But that level of support could be in jeopardy if the GOP gains control of the House of Representatives in this year's midterm elections.
The warning signs have been building for months.
In April, 10 House Republicans voted against a bill allowing the Biden administration to more easily lend military equipment to Ukraine. The following month, 57 House Republicans voted "no" on a nearly $40 billion aid package for Ukraine. Both measures ultimately passed the chamber.

About time
“Avoid foreign entanglements”. - George Washington
Business Inside. Lying Commie Rag.
During Washington's time vast ocean protected the US. After 9/11 we learned you cannot ignore the world.
Odd headline.

This is because one person said it shouldn’t be a blank check and unlimited money endlessly
That’s all it took
You're too kind, ... really, too kind.
Can these “journalists” report on the entire history of Ukraine? I mean, who influenced their election in 2014? Who threatened to withhold aid if a certain investigator of Burisma wasn’t fire? Who has been jonesing for war for the better part of two decades (left, Nuland, et al)?
Because it's horse manure.
“Lying commie rag”? Someone’s a little confused. Who are the commies? I was right, “lying neocons hit hardest” touches many tender spots.

Repubs playing with serious fire if they continue down the path they had/have been doing concerning Ukraine, especially as things continue to economically deteriorate here at home.
Trump is digging a hole faster than he can climb out of.
He is still thought of as a rUssian agent.
We are throwing money down a rat-hole while this war continues. There’s no benefit to us for this.
“Trump’s years long crusade against Ukraine”
Such a load of hogwash. Yea, and he was a Putin asset too, the government said so.
Didn’t Trump say something about “I Just Want To Stop The World From Killing Itself!”?
Well ain’t that weird? Guess he an pootski have been talking again?
Nothing has “come home to roost”.
No sane country would squander nearly $100 Billion of borrowed money on a totally corrupt, evil regime, led by the corrupt Zelensky, with no accountability?
Who else on this planet is that stupid? nobody.

Business Inside(r). Stinking Lying urinalist Commie red Rag !!
Avoiding foreign entanglements does not mean being isolationist and not caring about the world at large but being prudent (which we haven’t been) and cautious and I would argue that sentement/statement by George Washington was the first MAG(A)/America First type statement by The Greatest American of ALL TIME bar none.
Does the article make any attempt to link Hunter’s million dollar a year deal with Burisma, Biden’s $1 billion blackmail of the Ukrainian government to remove the prosecutor investigating Hunter/Burisma, Hunter’s massive cash infusion from the ex-wife of the former Moscow mayor, Trump’s ‘phone call’ request to investigate these dealings, the media/political establishment uproar over the attempt to investigate these dealings, and the impeachment of Trump for trying to investigate the deals to what is happening now?
