Former Pennsylvania Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kathy Barnette called on her base to support the party’s nominee, Mehmet Oz, in his campaign to defeat Democrat candidate John Fetterman.
“First, I hear you on the principles but let’s cut to the chase in politics here,” talk radio host David Webb said. “Are you working and encouraging your base, your substantial base, which could be the difference between a Republican loss in Pennsylvania and a Republican win?”
“Absolutely. And this is not new. This is something I’ve been doing for some time now,” Barnette told Webb. “I have made it very clear, on a number of outlets that I am walking into the ballot box on November 8th and I am voting Republican all the way down, and I encourage those who support me to do the exact same, so that’s not a newsflash.”

I wish all the GOP PA Senate candidates made that commitment immediately after the primary was over and they all joined Oz on the compaign.
I was reluctant about Oz initially but I have become a supporter over the past couple months. Is he going to be a 100% conservative? No. Will he have some votes that drive conservatives crazy? Yes. But in general, he will vote the right way and he is a smart, successful guy. Definitely better than the communist loser Fetterman.
I agree with you. Light years better than Fetterman who’s wife will immediately succeed him.
Good for her- putting the country before personal interests. I hope she stays active- i really like her.
Yep.
In a way Barnette reminds me of Sarah Palin: solidly conservative, but unpolished. The GOP establishment let Palin twist in the wind. The same thing happened to Barnette.
She DID! I was at an OZ pig roast fund-raiser less than a week after the primary, and OZ was asked whether Kathy was supporting him - he said, in no uncertain terms, that she had reached out and that they were talking about how best to coordinate to assure Republican victory.
He had only good things to say about her.
The whole smear against Kathy Barnette was hogwash - including the notion that she would not support the winner.
What she really said was that she would continue to represent the best interests of her supporters, and that in order to do so, she wanted assurances from whoever won (if it wasn’t her) that her supporters interests would be represented.
I think that was a very reasonable position - until establishment Republicans like Hannity took selected sound bites out of context and twisted it into something it wasn’t.
This gotcha question “will you support the winner if it isn’t you” is a trick the Left uses on conservatives to divide us - the fact that this tactic was used on Kathy Barnette by her own party is very telling.
Fetterman is a communist. This should be an easy choice for all.
I don’t know how much of a red wave election this will be, but Chuckie Schumer won his 2016 election by over 40%.
He’s only +14 in the RCP poll combination.
Excellent observations. I stopped contributing to the Republican Party after how the organization treated Sarah Palin. The only reason I gave money to the RNC was because Palin was on the ticket. For over four years I received letters, emails, and phone calls from the RNC asking for money. FINALLY, the RNC gave up.
Well....I’d say she wants a job in his administration.
like murkowski and father....and then your stuck forever

Oz is running for Senate.
But to your point, if Mastriano wins, he should appoint Barnette to something.
It is interesting how Democrats pretend to prefer blue collar “of the people” folks to represent them... when in reality they select elites or at least upper class background candidates. Fetterman is basically a trust-fund baby who has never had a job. AOC is a similar example, in that she had an upper-class life and financial support as well, so the fact that she did a gig as a bartender doesn’t really make her lower-middle/lower class either.
that’s a pretty classy move on her part.
personally, I like what she had to say more than any other PA senatorial candidate.
I know she had the stigma of losing a congressional race in 2018?, but maybe she can still pick up a congressional seat in 2024?
she would be an asset to the American First movement

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It’s my understanding that PA Gov gets to appoint SoS..... perfect place for Kathy
Well said.
Also, Oz want to go to DC to help Pennsylvania and America - NOT to enrich himself... Most democrats get to DC as middle class and within 5 years they’re multimillionaires... Republicans earn their money in the world THEN go to DC.
Oz made his money the old fashioned way - he earned it.
And Biden’s a perv...

Not in a million years….
Drive out a traitor to vote for an even less conservative, globalist, gun grabber?
No thanks
