Germany could be completely out of gas by February, the country’s gas agency has said, with some experts saying that the country needs to cut consumption by 30 per cent to make it through the crisis intact.
A reduction in gas consumption of up to 30 per cent may be required if Germany wants to make it through the coming winter intact, some experts have claimed, while the country’s gas agency has expressed concern that the nation could run out of the hydrocarbon by February.

CITIZENS must cut consumption, not politicians and bureaucrats… the citizens will continue paying for THEM to have whatever they need..
No, they will be forced to suffer.. And then, come spring the commie trash in charge will celebrate their victory. Only peasants will die.
Germany should just up windmill power by 30%.
(Al Gore told me to type that.)
No problem.
Buy an EV.
There wont be enough gas left for even Greta to run her mouth.
Still counting on those EV ticking time bombs to “save da planet.”
Hoping for a warm winter is not a plan.
fricked around on Trump advice and found out 🥶
Good little lemmings helping their “Green” agenda.
EU countries should require smart thermostat data from all elected officials’ homes be posted on the internet in real time.
Lacking that, infrared cameras outside their homes should be able to tell whose house is all toasty inside.
Lately I’ve noticed an influx of articles saying this is a good thing for the environment. Some are saying so are pitchforks in the azzes of bureaucrats from Brussels. We shall see.

What I find incredibly interesting is that ‘Germany running out of gas’ would not seem to be compatible at all with what is going on in the market where natural gas has been precipitously dropping in price to the point where right now, it is half of what it was in just mid-August. This is all based on various factors of which the biggest usually are ‘supply and demand’ and Germany (and Europe) aren’t the only ones in this position... but wouldn’t the idea of running out of gas drive the price up? Why isn’t it? I’m hoping that some smart Freeper can weigh in on this....
We used to have a guy that posted here under the name of something like Berlin_freezer.
Does anyone know if he’s making out OK?
Thy have the publics answer........”gas consumption amongst the general public has yet to noticeably go down”.
They are talking about nat gas not gasoline.
Supply is up and new gas terminals are coming online as we speak. A supply model is or should be part of this forecast and not just a demand model.
Pricing should capture the situation best, if one is looking at it from the outside. Best are futures, if available.
The green agenda has taken a massive hit globally.
Those smug, smirking Germans who dismissed Trump... well they can take cold comfort now in their self-righteousness. Very cold comfort.
