Facebook and Twitter are COA ops. Now re-state the question of how the DNC, not Biden Admin, co-op’ed Big Tech.
Rand Paul (along with many here) had NO PROBLEM with Facebook and Twitter CANCELING HIM because those are ‘private companies’.
I guess it never occurred to Rand that Facebook, Twitter, and the rest of big-tech are perfectly happy to take their marching orders from government.
The question is where does it lead? Pay Pal is now removing $2500 from accounts where the owners say something they don’t like...just grabbing the money. What next? Most of us have a lot more than $2500 being held by banks and other large money handlers - are we all next?
They certainly want it that way, as no one in power WANTS opposition, but the difference is that Left has shown and continues to show that they will not TOLERATE opposition.
And yet people here, say things like:
“Don’t like Facebook, start your own Facebook”
“Don’t like PayPal, start your own PayPal”
And then Twitter is an interesting case, because Musk is essentially doing what people here have been demanding - he is starting ‘his own Twitter’ by buying it. Yet the reaction of many here is:
“I don’t trust him”...implying that letting the government run Twitter is preferable?
Who decides what is “disinformation” and what is not? The only “decider” who matters is the citizen who receives the information after whatever discernment and evidence gathering that citizen chooses to apply. Neither government nor “big tech” qualifies.
Yet emails obtained pursuant to a FOIA request later revealed that these attacks were not the products of an independent objective news-gathering process of the type that publications like the Times and the Guardian still like to advertise. Rather, they were the fruits of an aggressive attempt to shape the news by the same government officials whose policies the epidemiologists had criticized. Emails between Fauci and Collins revealed that the two officials had worked together and with media outlets as various as Wired and The Nation to orchestrate a “takedown” of the declaration.

Something to keep in mind with all the rah-rah press on Ukraine. Nothing about press coverage is organic; it is instead orchestrated.
Government is in partnership with media and social media to suppress dissent and to identify and deliver subversives. This has been obvious for years now.
Government has ordered the media to do its bidding and promised the media that they will never be prosecuted for destroying the first and fourth amendments.
