Outgoing Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Wednesday on CNN’s “The Lead” that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was “giving aid and comfort to the enemy” by saying if Republicans retake the House, they would reconsider aid to Ukraine.
Tuesday, McCarthy said, “I think people are gonna be sitting in a recession, and they’re not going to write a blank check to Ukraine.”
Anchor John Berman asked, “Do you feel surprised that it made news when Kevin McCarthy suggested that Ukrainian aid may not be as forthcoming if Republicans take control of Congress?”

Go do something with Zelensky Kinzinger cause that’s what you’re already doing.
If he feels that strongly then draft a resolution that confirms an alliance with Ukraine akin to the Lend Lease Act.

Boy, Democrats sure have their pulse on what’s most important to the American electorate less than three weeks before the midterm Election Day: Endless billions of U.S. aid to Ukraine.
I just don’t think this Uke quagmire is very popular regardless of what the regime’s media conglomerate tells us. Sure, there’s a large contingent of Bushite neocons who are game for any war but there can’t be that many overall. The Republicans should at least run against spending the 400 or $500 million a day on Biden’s war even if they don’t care about the risk of nuclear annihilation we’re running.

I don’t think rescinding Biden’s blank check to Ukraine that doesn’t provide for an accounting of US tax dollars is unreasonable. How much of that money now resides in a Swiss bank account(s)?
