ABC national security producer hasn't been seen since APRIL when FBI mysteriously raided his house:
UK Daily Mail: Journalist was writing a book about Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan” ^ | 10/19/2022 | Jennifer Smith

An ABC News investigative producer has not been seen by colleagues since April, when the FBI mysteriously raided his apartment in Virginia.

He 'abruptly' left his job at the news network, withdrew from the book he was co-authoring about Biden's withdrawal from Afghanistan, and has kept a low profile ever since.

All the bureau will say is that a raid was carried out at his address on the day in question.

The warrant that enabled the raid has not been made public, and Meek's attorneys are being tight-lipped about what they have been told.

In a statement, attorney Eugene Gorokhov said he knew nothing of any classified documents, but that if Meek did possess them it would have been within the scope of his career as a journalist investigating national security and military operations.

So the great expansion surveillance aparachik is initially justified to prevent terrorism.

Then, within 15 years they use it against opposing political candidates.

Now they're going after the press.

I wouldn't be surprised if they break down my door just fo

The whole idea of 'secret warrants' is un-American. It's against our Western idea of democracy. Even our Freedom of Information Act is castrated and hardly worth a bucket of warm spit. There is a secret govenment which plays by their own rules. And then there is the American people who are held to a different set of rules.

Our representatives in Congress know this, yet they are gutless and unwilling to rock the boat.

His attorney Eugene Gorokhov seems very familiar with the DC scene:

Can you honestly say you have never considered the fact that 90% of us here have already typed what can be construed as felonious anti government statements? Fortunately they don’t have the goon power to round all of their enemies up yet.

I was most opposed to the Homeland Security Act and the FISA court, courtesy of George W Bush from the beginning. I recognized its potential for abuse of citizens far outweighed its potential to protect us from terrorism. It probably stopped some terrorism, but I have not seen such. I have seen terrorism unleased on innocent citizens via this act. Via FISA it sure as hell has seen abrogation of constitutional law against innocent American Citizens.

Maybe they were practicing for the raid on MAL in August when they accused Trump of possessing classified documents.

I’m quite surprised that this is the first we’re hearing about the Biden FBI raiding the home of a journalist. You’d think other reporters would have brought it up since it’s so outrageous. If it was the Trump FBI or DOJ, it would have been front page news. 🤬

Seems he’s in contact with his lawyer? But no contact since April?

Homeland security (I hate that title) had to have set a record for being the fastest new bureaucracy ever designed. It's like it was all drawn up and prepared just sitting in a file cabinet somewhere waiting for the right time...THEY FOUND IT.

They had the building(s), offices, and personnel all setup ready to go in record time. I don't remember never ending hearings or any of that.

It was faster than a John Roberts confirmation.
