Sinking boomers and/or shooting down nuclear bombers in peacetime is the beginning of nuclear war, don’t fool yourself. A nuclear power will not sit and watch their nuclear arsenal be neutralized by ANY means.
You cannot assure a win by striking first. The entire system is designed to remove that option.
So tell us, have any of those have actually taken out Russian nuclear silos before? And how do you suppose Russia would react to anyone attacking their nuclear silos like Zelensky demanded they do?
Again, no. As I showed above, nuclear weapons are not necessary to take out hardened targets such as silos.

Not necessarily: It depends on how may bombers or how many boomers were taken out. But at the very least that sure as hell would be a provocation.

Well, there is a difference between an arsenal and a couple warheads. The latter may or may not trigger a nuclear response; the former certainly would.

However, we have conducted exercises on target silos and other hardened targets we designed and built for that very purpose. That's how we test our systems: To see if they perform appropriately.

I missed this. I thought Poot and his Rus-TV gofers, performance artists, started their nuke’em good (UK, EU included) threats 2-3 months ago. When the Rus war started stalling and pooping out.
No, it is just that the nuclear threats have been constant.
Putting his nuke forces on alert on day 3 of his attack was extraordinarily threatening.
The US and NATO should not overreach in areas that have traditionally crossed that grey line to nuclear decent.
I agree with the article’s reasoning:
