The annual elementary school Halloween parades of a Pennsylvania school district have been scrapped due to “inclusivity” and “safety” considerations, leading to an uproar on the part of disappointed parents.

The Karen upper middle class areas are switching to “harvest or pumpkin parades” because they literally have no ability to think.
If you don’t like Halloween don’t come to the parade..

I worked at a K-8 district for many years. The Halloween parade was fantastic. Many moms went all out on their and their kids’ costumes—yes most were store bought, but the best came from the minds of the moms. Everyone but the Jehovah’s Witnesses kids had great fun. They either didn’t come that day, went home early or sat in a room with a teacher.
I still sub at that school and I recently talked to the granddaughter of one of ‘those’ moms. The stories of her costumes has become a part of family lore. The school still does the parade, but the older kids no longer take part.
Well as another poster said yesterday,
Ukraine is suffering because it elected a supposedly immoral President.
I guess with our recent Presidents, the same case could be made.
Perhaps if the parade were lead by drag queens and the kids carried banners honoring George Floyd, Greta Thunberg and Che Guvera and with gender bender swimmer “Lia” Thomas as grand marshal the school district might reconsider
