WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, America First Legal (AFL) and its co-counsel, Wally Zimolong, reached a victorious resolution in a lawsuit against the Chester County Pennsylvania Board of Elections and its Board Members regarding the county’s patently illegal use of insecure ballot drop boxes. As a direct result of AFL’s suit, Chester County has agreed to implement perhaps the most stringent ballot drop box security measures in Pennsylvania.
AFL’s lawsuit, which cited extensive surveillance video exposing people dropping multiple ballots in drop boxes in the county, compelled the County to put the following measures in place ahead of the 2022 midterm elections:
During a hearing lasting several hours, the Judge in this case commended the plaintiffs for bringing litigation because secure elections are the bedrock of the Republic and what separates the United States from the rest of the world. He criticized the Board for waiting for the litigation to implement the new procedures and forced the Board’s solicitor and counsel to admit on the record that they will take these measures to ensure the ballot drop boxes are used as directed under the law.
The Board of Elections will also be handing out flyers with the rules to each person who arrives to drop a ballot. Anyone dropping multiple ballots off into a drop box will be flagged by the monitor and an incident report will be written up and the board administration notified immediately. Local detectives will then conduct an investigation and the board will determine if the votes are valid or not. The Board also confirmed that it had sent the images of the over 300 individuals pictured depositing multiple ballots in the May 2022 primary election to the District Attorney’s office for further investigation.
Election integrity is the foundation of our democracy. The American people should have unwavering confidence in our elections on both a state and federal level. America First Legal and Wally Zimolong’s landmark victory has single-handedly bolstered the safety and security of the 2022 midterms, and future elections. Other counties using ballot drop boxes should follow similar procedures to ensure our elections are safe and secure.
Statement from Gene Hamilton, America First Legal Vice-President and General Counsel:
“The American people deserve to have confidence in the integrity of their elections. But had we not filed this lawsuit, Chester County would have left drop boxes completely unmonitored for the duration of this election season. We are immensely proud of the outcome in this case, of our team and Wally Zimolong, and will continue to fight for secure elections.” said Gene Hamilton.

Or see my comment above. Just turn off the camera and then bribe the poll watcher.
When that box ends up having way more drop offs than any other box, no one will be able to do anything about it.
This is GREAT news. But it begs the question — why have “drop boxes” in the first place? Just BAN them permanently and make voters go to their polling place on election day.
Keeping “drop boxes” just adds more complexity and cost to elections plus adds the potential for fraud, even with these safeguards in place. I would not doubt for one second that they will try to man the drop boxes with Democrats who will wink and nod at the fraudsters.
Just get rid of the damn things and...
* go back to in-person voting
* rare absentee ballots that require full written justification (e.g., bedridden, out of town on election day, on your deathbed, etc)
* End mail-in ballots
* End same-day registration
* End “Motor Voter” registration
* Completely purge the rolls after Presidential elections and require in-person re-registration with registration completed three months before an election
* End ranked choice voting
* End open “Jungle Primaries”
* And USE PURPLE INK fingers!
Dems are always yammering about “saving our democracy,” but every single one of these things they support subverts our elections.
Which state recently found that 95% of their poll watchers were Democrats in clear violation of state law that required proportional representation?
It is 2022 and we are ordering our politicians by mail. What could go wrong?
Besides the fact that they can pick anyone of any character and agenda to be a monitor. Just like they pick their election officials. And I can’t imagine they will have someone monitoring all of these 24 hours a day in any weather.
..will have specified hours of availability rather than being open 24-7, and will include video surveillance for every dropbox.
In 2016 Pima Co. Arizona there was video of someone coming in to the polling place with a box of ballots and loading up the drop box. This was definitely illegal at the time, in response to 2014 ballot stuffing. The ballot workers, and I think a security guard, just stood around watching.
The Iraqis had it right in their elections in 2006 or so - in person voting only, vote then dip your index finger in indelible purple ink. Check the index finger of every voter before allowing them into the polling station (as an added bonus I would have that finger cut off if they tried to vote twice).
So simple. So effective. Why can’t our “advanced democracy” and so-called “superior culture” figure out how to require something like that?!?!
Chester County is close to Philly. This needs to be done in all the Rat fraud counties, especially Delaware, and Montgomery (Shapiro’s home County) Counties.
Highest ballot fraud in the state.
There are more than 4 million people residing in the five-county region (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties) and more than 1.5 million in Philadelphia, making it the second-largest city on the East Coast and the sixth-largest city in the country.
There are groups that have organized to do shifts watching the drop boxes in Arizona at the locations that were problematic in 2020. They have already recorded people covering up their car tags as they deposit multiple ballots into the box.
Hopefully, there are groups monitoring the drop boxes in PA as well. Knowing they are under surveillance may reduce some of the illegal voting.
Government installed videos have proven to be worthless. After the election, the videos disappear.
The boxes should be personally staffed and the “dropper” should have to show ID when dropping a ballot off. Just my opinion.
There is NO valid reason for a drop box.
NONE.
My guess is counties where Democrats will suddenly get 200% over registered voters actually voting for Fetterman, et al will just comply ignore the ruling. It’s what they do - it’s how they roll.
And we have the Commie Crats working with the Post Office union workers already to control the 'flow'. Remember reading about finding Postal containers filled with ballots strewn across a ditch in 2020?
Well, the rest of us do.
Well there you go...already doing it and nothing can be done about it until AFTER the election is stolen.
Ballot dropboxes need to be eliminated. ID shown to vote. Period.
