Boston University did not create a new, more lethal strain of COVID-19 in its laboratory.
At least that is what the University is saying after reports, such as this Fox News report which was spread widely, claimed that is exactly what researchers did at the school.
Boston University is, in fact, studying the virus and it says it is doing so “to help fight against future pandemics.”
And it says, too, that it did combine the omicron variant’s spike protein with the original virus for testing on mice. And, at first glance, the tests do sound a bit ominous. Because, according to reports, when the researchers infected mice with the BA.1 omicron variant they mostly had mild cases and survived. But when they gave them the original COVID-19 virus with the new omicron spike protein 80-percent of the mice died...

Hadn’t seen this posted so after searching and not finding it I thought I’d post it for what it’s worth.
Did so
uh huh....So what about the report was inaccurate? BU created the strain as originally posted with the lethality as posted (in mice)..... Is it the “intention” they are disputing?
It was obvious crap sensationalist reporting meant to provide justification for more mandates and lockdowns and easy vote fraud.
The way many high level institutions are today, I’m inclined to think what was said yesterday is the truth.
What is being said now, is a lie, meant to distract and apease the common folk. “Nothing to see here!”
Why would a reporter create a virus strain?
Title as given is nonsense.
Obviously a typo, it was supposed to say reports of but I was doing it mostly by dictation so, oops. Should’ve checked it before finalizing it, my bad
Actually reporter=report.
The goal is depopulation of the planet. I strongly doubt they are researching ways to save lives in a pandemic except to have a vaccine for the ruling class. Why maintain an expense? They want to get rid of people, not save them.
Dear moderator, can you change the title to be corrected as reports instead of reporter? Thanks.
I guess one key question is did any of the individual strains kill 80% of mice?
Other questions of course such as how big a dose (viral load), what was the medium in which it was delivered, etc of this new Boston Strain compared to doses of the unaltered strains...
Largest question of all - why did they combine multiple strains into one? Is this likely to happen in nature?
Boston University is gaslighting now that it has been caught.
That's what the story said they did.
Well we know 90% of reporters are virulent so they are likely worse than the Boston strain.
And: Did Fauxcy fund this viral Frankenstein project?
Since their recruiting information for the virus research facility at Boston University claims they do cutting edge virus research on Covid and other viruses, I’ll tend to believe their own website which gives the Fox news article credibility in its claim.
Might have to reconcile with this one.
Somebody isn’t correct.

What they are doing is mixing and matching components of the virus to find out how to make the virus more deadly to humans. If you ask them WHY they are doing it they will say “so we can develop a vaccine against this virus “if” it emerges naturally”. The problem is they are creating the monster they are afraid of and are likely unable to prevent escaping.
