WASHINGTON — Biden administration officials are considering trying to discourage American companies from expanding business ties with Saudi Arabia as part of a U.S. response to a recent Saudi-led push by oil-producing countries to cut global production, said three current and former U.S. officials familiar with the discussions.
The administration also will not send any U.S. official to Saudi Arabia’s annual Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh next week, officials said.
The thinking behind a move to pull back American business investment in Saudi Arabia is that it could influence the kingdom without directly affecting U.S. security in the region, but it also would come with a risk that U.S. businesses won’t listen.

Now that the US deep state is turning on Saudi Arabia - maybe we’ll finally find out exactly how 9/11 was organized and exactly who in Saudi (and USA) leadership was involved.

It’s “pay to play” for the Biden admin.
If the prosecutor’s not fired, you’re not getting the money. ‘Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.
Poor Joeblowhard, he got his feelings hurt because the Saudis wouldn’t let him have more oil.
Is this the grant retaliation he threatened — asking companies to not do business with the Saudis? It doesn’t seem that ‘brandon’ has that much bully-pulpit capital.
More production cuts coming in 3..2..1

Eventually the outcome will be the House of Saud being overthrown in favor of Islamic Radicals.
If the people of Iran manage to end the dictatorship of the Mullahs and end social dominance of the Mullahs as well, a change in the U.S. Middle East policies could easily follow.
If that were to happen Iransupport for Hezbollah and Assad would likely end, and the Russia-China-Iran alliance would be reduced to the Russia-China alliance. Iran meddling in Iraq would likely also end, and Iran like Iraq might make autonomy for its Kurds possible, which would anger Erdogan in Turkey.
A smert U.S. would have realized all those possibilities back in 2009, and kept its thinking on backing the Iranian opponents of the Mullahs instead of reaching for deals with them.
