It's amusing trying to see Ukrainians shoot the drones down with rifles.

Yet, we still have fools here that think a country with no air defense whatsoever is winning.

Uhh, in any war failing to take out your enemy’s infrastructure would count as ........ terminally stupid. That power is used for communications, lighting, etc. Far more economical to take out power distribution network, but you have to do what you can.

Do average citizens suffer? ‘Ell yeah. War is like that. Now, if that Zelynskyy turd had simply implemented the Minsk agreement there would have been no war.
But, then, the $$$ coming back to BeijingBiden would then have gone down. Can’t have that.

NATO and US military spending in Ukraine is approaching $100bn and in Keiv they are reduced to firing AKs at Russian drones. Putin will unleash his offensive before the midterms, to embarrass Biden and the Neocons. All this is coming to an end, and it didn’t have to be this way.

“”Just like in the space race, the US spent millions developing a pen that would work in zero gravity.
The Russians used a pencil.””

At one time both space programs used pencils but “Pencils may not have been the best choice anyway. The tips could flake or break off, drifting in microgravity where they might harm an astronaut or equipment. And pencils are flammable—a characteristic NASA wanted to avoid in onboard objects after the Apollo 1 fire.”

““NASA was not involved at all in the development of the pen,” Gabriel Reyes, spokesperson for Fisher Space Pen, told Reuters via email. “It was Paul C. Fisher’s personal commitment to create a pen that would work in zero gravity. He spent over $1 million and about ten years developing the pressurized ink cartridge that allows the pens to function in zero gravity and extreme conditions,” Reyes added.”

Here is the original order from NASA for 400 pens at $2.95 apiece. https://imgbb.com/SdgLtH2

We going to send NASAMs to Ukraine to give Ukraine a ‘quick fix’ to its obvious, obvious glaring ineffective air-defenses.

Russia is using drones ranging in price per unit from roughly $50K to a few thousand dollars.

NASAMs utilizes AIM-120 AMRAAMs which per unit/missile is roughly what, $1-1.2 million........M I L L I O N!

Why spread a historical lie? Why not just try and say what you want to claim without lying, and why get so angry and hostile at someone informing people of the true history?

I am a born and raised fan boy of US weaponry and the like, but I am no blind fool idiot.

Going to laugh my ass off when NASAMS start targeting Russian drones hitting in Kyiv only to get destroyed because their defense radar gave them away to a swarm attack of them very same drone, all for thousands of dollars compared to millions........

Russian using P E N C I L’s is so kick ass.

So much so, that military analysts the world over will be studying this for years..........

Obama said that climate change is the most important issue of our time. He should be thanking the Russians for finally doing something about climate change.

Thousands of nuclear weapons floating around in a vast backward and corrupt part of the world with countries disintegrating and governments collapsing, a time of chaos and industrial size looting, and black market dealings on a scale never seen, and foreign governments, international terror groups wanting to buy them, was a real concern, not “media fear-mongering”.

A massive effort took place to get them all accounted for.

I know, we’ve all seen the tv shows and movies where the American specops show up just in the nick of time, to thwart a jihadist group from acquiring a nuke, thus saving the day and the world!

Time for some active defense by zelensky. Take out some russian drone storage and staging sites. Otherwise the rain continues if they don’t defend themselves.

My guesstimate and hope is that only 15-20% of Ukie power generation has been taken out. That Zelensky is exaggerating in order to get more funding from NATO + USA and electrical transformer donations.

We should be stockpiling transformers in case of EMP or cyberattacks. I doubt we are. Stockpiling transformers should be part of our bloated military budget and or Homeland Security budget, and be expedited.

It seems you want to attempt to rewrite a real and dangerous history, for reasons unknown, perhaps just ignorance, perhaps more.
