Shouldn’t just wrapping the phone in aluminum foil be a sufficient Faraday cage?
I’m an engineer, but not “that” kind of engineer (mechanical, not electrical). So anyone who can confirm would be appreciated.

A foil potato chip bag works well.

Maybe.

But to be sure, just use a sealed metal container, such as a metal ammo can, metal cookie or cake can, etc.

Pad the inside of the can with something non conductive such as foam rubber, cardboard, etc.
