The “old fashioned” Deep State technology just had “spooks” place bugs into the homes of targets.

It was trivial to pretend they were repair or maintenance services or utility service workers.

Break-ins were just a last resort.

This work was probably “contracted out” to “security companies” to assist compartmentalization.

Shouldn’t just wrapping the phone in aluminum foil be a sufficient Faraday cage?
I’m an engineer, but not “that” kind of engineer (mechanical, not electrical). So anyone who can confirm would be appreciated.

A foil potato chip bag works well.

Dan Bongino was saying with a criminal case they have a time limit to press charges or close the case. With an “intelligence” case there is no statute of limitations.

“ Just to repeat, your cell phone will ping nearby towers even when turned off (it’s never totally ‘off’). The only way to shut down your cell phone is to remove the battery. You can also put it in a special metal foil lined pouch (Faraday cage) that will prevent it from sending and receiving.”

Maybe.

But to be sure, just use a sealed metal container, such as a metal ammo can, metal cookie or cake can, etc.

Pad the inside of the can with something non conductive such as foam rubber, cardboard, etc.

From Wikipedia:

The metal layers are grounded to dissipate any electric currents generated from external or internal electromagnetic fields, and thus they block a large amount of the electromagnetic interference. See also electromagnetic shielding. They provide less attenuation of outgoing transmissions than incoming: they can block electromagnetic pulse (EMP) waves from natural phenomena very effectively, but a tracking device, especially in upper frequencies, may be able to penetrate from within the cage (e.g., some cell phones operate at various radio frequencies so while one frequency may not work, another one will).

The reception or transmission of radio waves, a form of electromagnetic radiation, to or from an antenna within a Faraday cage is heavily attenuated or blocked by the cage; however, a Faraday cage has varied attenuation depending on wave form, frequency, or distance from receiver/transmitter, and receiver/transmitter power. Near-field, high-powered frequency transmissions like HF RFID are more likely to penetrate. Solid cages generally attenuate fields over a broader range of frequencies than mesh cages.

Most new cars track you too. I have built a Faraday cage around mine. Tell people it’s in case it hit deer. Looks pretty bad ass on my 86 vw.

No, it won’t.

Step one: Find out WHO GIVES THE ORDERS to do the surveillance.

Step two: Order giver has “accident”, or just disappears.

Step three: Rinse, repeat.
