NE US Faces Cold Winter - Biden imports LNG and Stops Pipelines from Marcellus Natural Gas Largest US Shake Basin

The largest U.S. shale basin is stymied by regulatory hurdles. The U.S. Northeast is importing LNG from foreign producers

Regulatory hurdles are stymieing growth in natural gas production in the Marcellus-Utica basin, the largest U.S. gas-producing region

Not only is Marcellus-Utica missing the opportunity to export … LNG but … also to provide more natural gas to the regions close to it in New England ..

In one of the most ironic twists in American energy these days, the U.S. Northeast is importing LNG from foreign producers to meet its gas demand.

New England’s predicament is the result of the regulatory hurdles the U.S. states in the Northeast have posed to natural gas pipeline infrastructure …

Over the past few years, developers haven’t proposed many new gas pipelines in the U.S. Northeast due to permitting issues and bans …

More pipeline capacity is also needed for New England’s energy demand …

“Without additional energy infrastructure, New Englanders will continue to face uncertainty and the risk of future energy shortages,” INGAA said in September. …

“While all eyes have been on Europe for how their energy crisis will play out, the reality is many American consumers face similar reliability issues here at home, particularly in New England,” Andryszak said, but noted that there’s one significant difference between New England and Europe.

“The U.S. is the No. 1 gas producer in the world, and New England is a stone’s throw away from the most prolific natural gas resource basin in the country — the Marcellus and Utica shale formations in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia,” Andryszak wrote.

“Rather than hoping to get their hands on an LNG tanker when in a bind, New England could expand American energy infrastructure and change course for future generations.”

Facts illustrate the insanity of the ESG Green Movement and Biden energy policy. The reality is, Americans have been indoctrinated and will not move off of their embrace of wokeness and climate change as religion.

That is until significant numbers of them freeze and die.

If these so called experts are wrong we should be able to strip them of all their wealth and all their entire families wealth and jail them all too! It is time to hold these people responsible for making other people suffer. I’ve had enough of the giving them a free pass as they destroy this country with their nonsense.

Well, freezing your ass off will kind of help to take your mind off of the price of gas. groceries and everything else caused by Jo Jo the Pedo Clown’s Inflation program. The upside is, 81 million idiots standing together in a group and shaking their asses off should help warm the place up.

The biggest problem is that folks don’t want a pipeline across property near their house.

Investors want the pipeline across their vacant land for the passive revenue.

NIMBY is the issue. The rest is noise.

Still time to prep.

The forecast for the next 10 days looks really nice. Take advantage of the weather while you can. We’ll continue to cut, split, and store firewood for the wood stove.

It’s not noise. People have been indoctrinated by the commie greenies to be afraid. When the stupid are afraid, watch out.
We had a school board election hinge on being against fracking under the school (a mile under the school). Suburban women bought that fracking would harm kids.

The biggest problem is that folks don’t want a pipeline across property near their house.

May be true is some places, but the biggest opposition to pipelines here on the Marcellus Shale is from the fact the companies offer a pittance for rights-of-way, and often find ways to avoid paying even that. Not to mention the mess they make and fail to clean up until the state forces them to, which may take years.

Yes, I live on the Shale. I've seen this exploitation of often-poor landowners up close and personal.

“jail them all too”

Those jails better not use electricity (except for electrified fences :-) )—time for them to feel the pain they cause.

Quid Pro Joe had better hope for an easy winter, because this issue isn’t going away in November. The Dem media in the Northeast are going to be trying to find a way to blame Trump for this as they just tried with respect to Afghanistan, and with just as little success. It’s too late to do much at this point except deflect blame.

With this have any effect on the electric car I just bought?

Mayor Pete says I can use it to power up my house. So I should be good. Right?
