In a just world, you would think that would be the case.
But at the moment, that "committee" has men with guns willing to do their bidding. That's the reality.
Until those men with guns realize there may be (serious) repercussions for doing the "committee's" bidding, this type of abuse will continue.

When the worm turns, and inevitably it does, watch for the dash to the tall grass.
