Paul Gosar Calls Out NATO for Escalating Tensions in Ukraine
Big League Politics ^ | Oct 12, 2022 | Jose Nino

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is the kind of military alliance the Founding Fathers warned about.

Its entangling nature puts America at risk of entering potentially dangerous conflicts where no pressing national interest is at stake. Just look at the present Russo-Ukrainian conflict. Many policymakers in Washington believe that a Slav-on-Slav conflict thousands of miles away somehow involves a critical national interest. In reality, what guides the DC Swamp’s interest in this conflict is the desire to debilitate Russia and make it submit to the liberal hegemonic order.

DC is committed to this goal irrespective of the massive risks its entails. For one, there’s an increased chance of nuclear conflict between the West and Russia should the former start cranking up military aid and even sending conventional forces into Ukraine to stave off Russian advances.

There are very few elected officials in DC who are calling for deescalation in this conflict. For example, the entire Democratic Party (Yes, even the progressives) is down with the NATO agenda of cranking up tensions with Russia. It’s only a small grouping of Republicans who want to cool things down.

Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar is leading the charge in calling for restraint in Ukraine. He laid out his sentiments on the matter in a tweet he posted on October 12, 2022:

NATO Leadership refuses to offer any sort of off-ramp. They’re not even attempting to deescalate the situation between Ukraine and Russia, and the left slanders anyone who does (like Elon Musk).

We MUST reject nuclear war.

We MUST reject more unnecessary death and destruction.

Indeed, there are scant voices of reason when it comes to foreign policy these days. DC and the media industrial complex that spreads its message are on neoconservative/neoliberal interventionist time. It’s going to take individuals like Gosar to stand up to this pro-war uniparty and change foreign policy.

At this point, complacency only enables the interventionist predators in the DC Swamp. These people must face resistance for their destructive foreign policy moves.

“This is a war where we are 100% responsible and in particular the Biden administration.”

Putin ordered his troops into Ukraine.

So there’s that.

The only off ramp Putin will accept is a complete surrender by Ukraine.

All the Ukrainians I have met in Alberta who fled there have all told me the same thing. Zelensky is to blame. They hold him as the blame. I don’t think the 40 million are in a hurry to line up behind him.

Whats fueling inflation in the US is trillions in excess spending, through printing money, meant to fight the covid recession. And that was vastly overdone, both by the psst and present US Congesses and administrations, so now inevitably there is recession. And compared to that, anything spent on Ukraine is like spitting in the ocean.

All of these run to something like 8 trillion at least, vs so far 80 billion committed to Ukraine aid. And thats not counting “normal” deficits.

8 trillion > 80 billion, or 100 times more. You are freaking out over 1% of your problem. If you were to freak out proportionately over the whole of it, well, you wouldnt get there as a stroke or heart attack would get you in the process of freaking.

“The only off ramp Putin will accept is a complete surrender by Ukraine.”

You’re DAMN RIGHT. He gave the West 8 YEARS to honor Minsk 2, something that the Western countries SIGNED. Instead the Neocons simply used those years to arm-up Ukraine to the point that a war had to happen.

At this point, he won’t trust another thing out of the West, and I, for one, don’t blame him.

It's unbelievable. And once that bell is rung, it cannot be un-rung.

Forget jobs, economy, cash, food, going to the grocery store, going to WalMart, anything.

Their will be chaos everywhere. Everywhere and anywhere anyone even survives it.

Just the kind of chaos that I've expected for decades that would bring on Satan's anti-messiah with all the “answers” for ‘Peace and Security’ - and the surviving world rejoices.

Time is going to tell. This thing is incredible and not in a good way.

It’s like a foreshadowing of Revelation 16:13-14

That this will somehow “solve” something instead of creating even more world-wide misery.

We invaded Afghanistan. So we are the bad guys? Or is there more to the story?

Logic error/fallacy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallacy_of_the_single_cause (colloquial: oversimplification)

There’s more to the Ukraine story as well. You just choose to ignore all that. But that doesn’t make it true.

We armed Ukraine and that was technically and as per Minsk agreement wrong (we broke an agreement). This can be justified, i.e. if Russia truly does attack Ukraine in an unprovoked manner we raise the cost. We make a war of aggression costly.

However, when we “offered” NATO admission in October 2021 we went from defensive to offensive from the Russia perspective and what they think DOES matter. From that time on we started a countdown timer for war and yes it was 100% us and no one else. We freak out if the PRC wants to build a multifunctional training facility on the Solomon islands, 6,200 miles from our Western border. We risk nuear war in the Cuban Missile Crisis, invade Grenada and overthrow the government in Nicuragua twice when we are in a similar situation as the Russians are in now and none of them border us by land in direct contact). We would NEVER accept what we are claiming the Russians should accept (a major military power playing on their border).

NATO is our club. We created it, we disproportionately fund it. We are the big guy inside it that has the size and capabilities no one else has. We decide who gets to join and when and just like the EU is in reality controlled by the Germans and French (they make the decisions), we controll NATO regardless of where the figure head supposedly in charge is from.

They. Want. War.

Just ask Elon Musk who was “condemned” for proposing peace.

No, this is a war they wanted, and a war they want to continue.

The insider I talk to in Austria is saying that the Euro peoples are pointing blame at the USA.

If you pay attention to everything else in that region, all the east central Europe nation peoples are aligning against NATO and the USA. Aside from Poland that is.

I have posted this to the war whore on this site.

One said that it was an childish statement. Others will not comment.

“With potentially hundreds of thousands of people dying, we must demand the immediate negotiation of the peaceful end to the war in Ukraine, or we will end up in World War III and there will be nothing left of our planet all because stupid people didn’t have a clue,” Trump told supporters Saturday”

You are truly a fool. Russian aggression over the last 300 years had nothing to do with 2016. Trump worked to get my vote that election. I t was anyone but Hillary.
