I for one say, give them their effing ‘Party’.
I no longer vote for Republican candidates. I vote only for MAGA American candidates. If they happen to run as a Republican, I will vote for them, with reservations. The same as I would if they run as a Democrat, though so far, I have yet to see a Democrat, MAGA American, unless you count Tulsi Gabbard.
“I no longer vote for Republican candidates.”
Since I understand what the consequences are of Democrat victories, I ALWAYS vote for the guy with the “R” in November elections. Primaries are where I’ll vote MAGA whenever possible.
Tulsi is just a socialist of a different bent. She’s just an America First Socialist. Don’t be fooled by her becoming independent, she’s simply a woman scorned. As for the GOP, the idea here is for MAGA folks to take over the party infrastructure. We’ll have to see if that works. Supposedly it is faster than creating a new party from scratch. It makes sense to me that a take over would be more effective. There are plenty of low information voters in the Republican Party. Like it or not, we need their votes even if they are only voting for someone because there’s an ‘R’ next to their name.

You’d be wise to research TG’s platform, before you equate her with anything MAGA. She’s not even close!
She may have denounced the radical democrat party, but she sure isn’t a Conservative.
Parties are collective forces. They control the rules of Congress and the Senate. Even RINOs usually vote to keep or get their party in control of the House or Senate because that is where the power and goodies come from. The primaries are where real political choice lies. Don’t be a fool. Think of the Libertarian Party party members who are voices crying in the wilderness and end up chairing no committees or whose constituencies are ignored.
