Hillsborough County, Florida Republican Party Attempted "RINO-Led Palace Coup Thwarted"
miamiindependent.com ^ | 10/15/22

Wednesday night, the RINO Establishment wing of the Hillsborough County Republic party attempted an in-house "palace coup" to take control of the Hillsborough County Republican Party, but were overcome and defeated by Party Chairman Col Jim Waurishuk, USAF (Ret.), a staunch MAGA populist Constitutional Conservative.

They used a “weaponized” grievance process to replace the Republican Party of Florida’s Constitution, rules & procedures to serve as a means to strip Waurishuk of his authority as the county party chairman. They suspended his nationally recognized orientation and training program for bringing on new precinct committeemen and committeewomen in an attempt to stack the membership deck against his conservative Executive Committee.

In just over a 90-minute period, using a series of four motions from the floor brought forth by his conservative base in the county Party, Waurishuk eliminated the “Astro-turfed” effort to stack the RINO opposition’s numbers in the Executive Committee to take control of the Party from the Conservative-led America First leadership. The illegal and unconstitutionally process of “member harvesting” was killed by motions brought by the floor. Chairman Jim Waurishuk used those key motions, along with statements presented by the angry conservative base to expose the RINOs, forcing them to reveal their motives and intentions.

His maneuvering demonstrated the strength of both the Chairman’s leadership and the principles and the voice of conservatives in the Hillsborough Republican Executive Committee. In the end, Waurishuk shut down the coup attempt that had by design, manipulated, marginalized, and “used” the people they recruited as “political pawns” to serve their agenda. Sadly, the RPOF leadership not only allowed this effort, but sanctioned and orchestrated it by “weaponizing” the grievance process against Chairman Waurishuk.

I for one say, give them their effing ‘Party’.
I no longer vote for Republican candidates. I vote only for MAGA American candidates. If they happen to run as a Republican, I will vote for them, with reservations. The same as I would if they run as a Democrat, though so far, I have yet to see a Democrat, MAGA American, unless you count Tulsi Gabbard.

“I no longer vote for Republican candidates.”

Since I understand what the consequences are of Democrat victories, I ALWAYS vote for the guy with the “R” in November elections. Primaries are where I’ll vote MAGA whenever possible.

Oh... so you are one of “them”...
One of the guys that support the traitors that make up the republiCAN’T party.
We are where we are, not because of the democommies, but because of the support they receive from the bush league chamber of commerce worshiping republiCAN’Ts.
You sir, and the people who think like you, are vichy conservatives.
In other words, traitors to the republic.

Tulsi is just a socialist of a different bent. She’s just an America First Socialist. Don’t be fooled by her becoming independent, she’s simply a woman scorned. As for the GOP, the idea here is for MAGA folks to take over the party infrastructure. We’ll have to see if that works. Supposedly it is faster than creating a new party from scratch. It makes sense to me that a take over would be more effective. There are plenty of low information voters in the Republican Party. Like it or not, we need their votes even if they are only voting for someone because there’s an ‘R’ next to their name.

If that’s what you consider someone who doesn’t stand by and let Democrats win, then I am GUILTY as hell.

...so what’s next, So Cal’s hit list or something?

Politics is not a team sport.
That crap should have ended in high school.
So, what are we to do?
Find a weakness and exploit it!
What is the common weakness with democommies and republiCAN’Ts?
The rise of a third party.
They really don’t care which one of them wins.
They all stand for the same thing.
However, show a double digit return for a third party and BOTH sides panic.
If you can’t beat them, then you must find a way to keep them in line.
This is the only way.
Unless you have a better idea...

You’d be wise to research TG’s platform, before you equate her with anything MAGA. She’s not even close!
She may have denounced the radical democrat party, but she sure isn’t a Conservative.

You do the best you can, with what you have.

The primaries are where you fight to get the best candidate for the general election. The general election is where you choose the best you can, because nearly half the population are choosing the worst from the Democrat side.

You need to incrementally push back in a constructive way. Don’t let the worst candidate get in because you are mad that “perfect” can’t get in.

If I waited for “perfect,” I’d have to only ever vote for Jesus, when he miraculously ran for all ballot positions.

Who’s side am I on?
The constitution’s side!!!
Either you believe in the constitution as written, or you don’t.
Anyone that supports that document gets my vote, regardless of party affiliation.
If you don’t support it, as written, then you are an enemy of the republic.
Period
