A co-founder of the firm behind Truth Social says Trump retaliated against another exec who refused to gift some of his shares to Melania

* Will Wilkerson, co-founder of Trump's media company, filed an SEC whistleblower complaint in August.

*Wilkerson detailed several allegations about the company to The Washington Post.

* An email obtained by the Post showed another co-founder believed Trump was retaliating against him.

A co-founder of Trump Media & Technology Group, the company behind Truth Social, said former President Donald Trump pushed another executive to give some of his shares to Melania Trump and retaliated when the request was declined, according to a Washington Post report.

Will Wilkerson, who filed a whistleblower complaint about the company to the SEC in August, made the allegation in a story published by the outlet on Saturday. The Post, which obtained materials submitted with Wilkerson's complaint, detailed accusations of infighting and potentially illegal activity at the company.

Trump had been given a 90% stake in the company when it was founded, according to the SEC complaint. But Wilkerson told the Post he was with fellow co-founder Andy Litinsky in October 2021 when the latter received a call from Trump. At the time, the company had recently reached a merger deal that would catapult the value of its stock. Wilkerson said the former president asked Litinsky to give some of his shares to Melania Trump.

Wilkerson told the Post that Litinsky demurred and explained the gift would result in a tax bill he would be unable to pay: "Trump didn't care. He said, 'Do whatever you need to do.'"

Ryan’s endorsement is worth exactly squat. We all benefit from his early retirement from government.

DeSantis has proven himself. He's stood up to leftist policies successfully.

Trump has great talking points, but he was out of his depth in Washington. CEO is not a good preparation for the presidency. CEOs are bosses. They call the shots. But a president must handle opposition from the courts, Congress, the Deep State. Trump wasn't able to do it.

DeSantis is a successful governor. A much better preparation for president than business CEO.

DeSantis is also younger. Trump's not senile, but he's only a few years younger than Biden. Something to consider.

Andy Litinsky is a young man who produced Comedy Central’s “Roast of Donald Trump” back in 2011, and is one of the holdovers from The Apprentice 2 TV series. We have seen in the past how Trump sometimes makes poor staffing decisions, this may have been one of them. Litinsky is a New York Jew. How many of them do you think are politically conservative? Not many. And if you do find one, they’ll tell you they’re “financially conservative, but socially liberal”. So not surprising he bites the hand....

Sometimes???

Trump's cabinet was a dumpster fire, with way too much deference given to 4 star generals.

“Trump has great talking points...”

If that stupidity is your best, and evidently it is, then your post is not worth any effort at response.

But talking points were Trump's greatest achievement.

He put issues on the table no one else talked about. Immigration, wokeness, anti-white racism, etc. He thereby forced the media and other politicians to discuss these issues.

But his policy achievements were less impressive. His tax cut and support for Israel were standard GOP policies. Any Republican president would have done the same.

The things the made Trump unique -- building a wall, deporting dreamers -- did not come to fruition.

Ann Coulter is right. Trumps talks a good game, but delivers a lot less than promised.

I think DeSantis can do better.

We have seen in the past how Trump sometimes makes poor staffing decisions,... And worked on his campaign.
Were you saying something about Trump making poor decisions?

Just another unappreciative hind sight genius ankle biter.

“...building a wall, deporting dreamers — did not come to fruition.”

He did, in fact, build a wall against incredible opposition from the entire Washington D C swamp, and it would have been completed in a few weeks had he remained in office.

I have no clue how it got out that he did not build a wall, except Ann Coulter insists that he did not build a mile of it. But she has lost her mind.

Deporting dreamers was an issue, before Biden, that required an act of Congress. Now, everyone sits back and lets Biden act as dictator. They would have just impeached Trump had he acted alone on immigration.

Other than that, you must not be very bright. You “think” DeSantis can do better is a sentiment you pulled out of your ass. What makes you think that DeSantis can withstand the ferocity of the entire world the way Trump has?

Hmmm. Let’s start with “ANYONE but Omarosa”. Literally. Like anybody. A bum off the street would’ve been better. And anyone who watched her on his show knew that.

Good post. DeSantis is just a GOPe retread who figured out how to mouth the right words most of the time. He’s also great at filing hopeless lawsuits that always lose but rile people up beforehand.

DeSantis’s actual policies are pretty much Ryanism and that’s why Ryan endorsed DeSantis.

He did, too. No way around the obvious. He paid way too much emphasis on credentials and assumed appointees would take their oath seriously. Most of them were just in office to take care of themselves and their buddies... He should have fired the lot. In most cases, a guy off the street could have done better.
