Eight dollars for a gallon of gas. Once, it seemed like an impossibility; now, it seems to happen in California every time there is a price spike. Last week, a Chevron station in Los Angeles recorded prices of $8.35 and above; similar prices were reported at multiple stations around Southern California

Filled up this morning at the Costco in Torrance. $5.59 a gallon.
No real mystery, high taxes and refinery shortages.
1 yr I escaped California and I’m paying 4 bucks a gallon.

The gas price at Costco in Denver today is $3.37.
I tell my neighbors that if they didn’t vote “Recall Newsom” last year you must be thrilled with high gasoline prices.
Costco in NYC is $3.29 right now.
I think California is rife with election fraud and ballot stuffing, and they are NOT actually voting D as much as people think.

You missed the cost of producing fuel in CA with all the b.s. additives that drive up refining costs as well.

I laughed when Biden sent out his idiots claiming this is Trump’s fault because he didn’t build refineries on his watch. Gas was under 2 a gallon and there is no way in hell the disgusting bureaucracy would allow a refinery built anywhere at anytime. They had a fit just putting up fence along the border.
I figure $0.67 is probably a cost figure coming from the west coast refiners. When supplies inevitably get tight then the price differential for the special CA blend goes up.

There has to be some sort of disclaimer we can all use. Otherwise we will not be allowed to discuss any elections of the past.
Yes, vote fraud. Yes, rigged. Yes, true sentiments of the citizens are kept hidden. Yes, media coverup of it all. Yes, law enforcement and legal system do not punish. Heck, I live in the s-—hole corrupt state of Michigan! I know it’s crooked.
But if people like me cannot discuss elections then the Left has won. I get agued down for citing a past vote or worse, a poll. Past vote was not genuine. (I agree.) And no one can discuss politics here.
I do not mean to single you out. I have been opposed by several here.
