A tourist identified as Dustan Jackson revealed that last February he was the victim of an abduction by a group of men after arriving at a store to buy tobacco in Cancun.
Through social networks, the native of Utah, United States, detailed that during his vacation in the tourist destination, everything was going great, the real nightmare was the last day.
(Novedades Q.Roo).- The man stated that he was at the Cancun International Airport with his wife waiting for his flight back to his home country, but during the wait he had a craving for chewing tobacco. Realizing that he had time to get some, he decided to go out and buy some.
On the outskirts of the airport, the tourist took a cab and asked the driver to take him to the nearest store or gas station, the cab driver told him he knew a place to buy, so he started driving.
“I get out of the car, and I’m like ‘ok,’ I walk and then Boom, lights out,” the victim states.
When he awoke, he was at the mercy of a group of men armed with machetes, who attempted to cut off the victim’s foot. It is presumed that this move was an alleged extortion attempt for ransom.
“They tried to cut off my Achilles’ heel, and failed. Instead of hitting it (the heel), they hit the bottom of my foot and then my foot just flipped over.” Explained Jackson. “They tried to cut all my tendons and leave me for dead,” he detailed.
After these injuries, the man only remembers waking up in a ditch, and decided to seek help, but he claims that the authorities he encountered ignored him, so he decided to stay on the ground waiting for death, but a policewoman took pity on him and took him back to the airport.
Once he managed to reach his home country, doctors indicated that his left shoulder had been destroyed and he had to undergo four surgeries in order to save his foot and shoulder.
Dustan Jackson wants his story to be spread, so he opened a project on the Kickstarter platform, to receive donations to help him make the documentary.
The tourist assures that he wants to illustrate how they tried to kill him and how they left him in a ditch thinking or waiting for him to die, he also stressed that he is willing to return to Cancun, to document the place where he was abandoned.
This Home Body also denounces the kidnapping in Cancum.
And the perps have an open invitation from Biden to practice their craft in the USA.
Cancun taxis are apparently even worse.
When I was in the Philippines the first time, it was the first time I had flown internationally anywhere. I knew none of the rules that I was supposed to follow and I’m the type of guy that is without guile. There is no guile in me.
I was in the departure area when I decided I needed a pop. So, I put my knapsack in a corner and I was going to leave the departure area and go get a pop.
As I was leaving, I was surrounded by about 4 Filipino security guards all of whom were yelling at me. I figured out that once you’re in the departure area, you don’t leave. What you didn’t buy, you gotta foget about it.
I’m sorry for this guy’s experience, but you have to follow the rules of each country. In Mexico, you don’t walk the streets if you’re a gringo.
Any American who voluntarily enters Mexico is stark, raving, mad!
I love Mexico, but there are parts I wouldn’t go to.
That said, this was supposedly in the vacation area of Cancun, he supposedly tells his wife he’s going off to buy chewing tobacco and finds a taxi driver who knows where he can buy “snuff,” gets there and gets mugged...and his wife calmly goes back to the US and apparently never calls anybody about the fact that her husband didn’t come back to the airport where he had left her to buy chewing tobacco?
There’s a lot wrong with this story.
Yep, and have you noticed a lot of people seem to be going missing lately? I read another case today 4 guys went missing in Oklahoma.

“None of this makes sense,” Mark Chastain’s wife of nine years, Jessica Chastain, told Insider on Friday.”
Yes it does make sense when we consider the Biden occupations open border policy that is allowing gang members and criminals that practice kidnapping for an occupation enter the country.
And they don’t kidnap just for ransom, they kidnap and demand the victim hit the local ATM and afterwards they chop him in the neck with a machete and throw him in a ditch.
And if anyone doubts it, this happened near where I live last month. We have a REAL nice problem with illegal here, MS-13 especially that like to mass kill teens...........

Good thing the main stream media is covering all this NOT
WHY would anyone vacation in Mexico?
Don’t they read the news?
“Tourist Denounces Kidnapping in Cancun”
And that is a PERFECTLY GOOD reason that Ted Cruz should NOT have gone there during the deep freeze in Texas.
For if he had been kidnapped and then replaced in the Senate, then Texas might have gotten a Republican Senator who can actually win in 2024.
Come to think of it, the beaches are really nice down there.
You want Cornyn or O’Rourke for president? Says a lot about you.
Taxi to the chewing tobacco store?
Somehow I don’t think he went out of his way to get a $5 pouch of chewing tobacco.
My crazy BIL and his (half wit) wife regularly go to $5,000K a week resorts in Mexico. They are taken from the airport to the resort in vehicles provided by the resort and driven by resort employees. He thinks the Mexican employees at the the resort are great because they are so nice and helpful.
He says I hate Mexicans because I don’t want 1/4 million illegals entering the US every month. He thinks that all the illegals are just like the Mexicans who kiss his ass at the resort and just want to come to the US so they can kiss his ass here.
I worked in Mexico for a couple of years in the 90s. Back then I chewed Copenhagen, and I learned that I’d better take enough with me to last through the month-long work period, because it’s nearly impossible to find any there. Perhaps it’s different in tourist areas.
Today I wouldn’t go to Mexico for any reason.
Snuff...uh huh... ☘️

Are you on Mushrooms again?
I lived in Mexico City and Cuernavaca when I was a child. We never went outside of our home unless we were in a car with a chauffeur who carried heat. Our homes were surrounded by 8 to 10 foot walls with broken glass on top of them and our father said never ever ever open the door or gates for anyone. This is back in the 1960s. I would never return to Mexico today.
Yeahhhh rather odd... I agree.
I hitchiked through southern Mexico from Oaxaca to Cancun to catch a flight back to the USA just about 4 years ago. I am 67 years old. I have been going to MX on and off for vacation and medical tourism for over 30 years. All the paranoid nonsense is laughable.
There are awful things that happen in MX, but frankly there are MORE awful things in the USA. I wound up walking thru the mountains in Oaxaca State late at night, (no lights, dirt road, miles from anywhere) at about 11 at night, going back to a small town where I caught a bus back to Oaxaca city. Safest I have felt in a long while, after initially a bit nervous. Most Mexicans are wonderful, honest, kind people.
People who believe the “news” about Mexico are -frankly- idiots. The vast majority of deaths in MX are the same as the thug life here. Mostly low life drug dealing punks killing each other.
I did have a laminated card I kept with my passport. it read
FELICIDADES TONTOS!
Han Secuestrado un hombre unico! No tengo dinero. Mi familia no tienen dinero. Ellos tienen instrucciones no pagan nada a nadie, porque.....
No la temo a la muerte. Si me matas me enviaras inmediatamente a estar con mi salvador jesucristo. No va obtener dinero. Es mejor dispararme.. INMEDIATAMENTE. Aqui. Entre los ojos. Tontos.
Had a friend who was a Mexican and spilled his beer laughing at this. He said “they will either kill you on the spot or laugh at you and let you go... I dunno which”
You and I are thinking the same way about this story.
