Liermann told the court he got a good look at the driver of the SUV – describing him in detail. Liermann then talked about how the SUV drove right through the Catholic Community of Waukesha group on the parade route.
"When he drove through that group, he struck many of them, run over. I could see people come out from under the vehicle," Liermann said.
Liermann told the court he never saw the vehicle slow down, never saw brake lights, and never heard a horn honking from the SUV.
"There was no panic, no distress. It seemed to me like he was excited about what he was doing," Liermann said.

I haven’t been able to stomach this, so thanks for posting.
This guy is going down. He’s got SIX murder charges (little kids and Grandmas!) against him and something like a total of 72 charges in all.
Wisconsin doesn’t have the death penalty, but in our state, Life MEANS Life.
I just wish this wasn’t such a waste of Taxpayer Dollars, and my heart just breaks for the families who lost loved ones, the many, MANY people injured by this POS that day, and anyone that was there and had to witness it.
Seeing him learn ‘big words’ has been interesting. Without knowing how to pronounce them, what they mean, and how to use.
He’s attempting to use the previous work of his fired attorneys...and SovCit ‘mumbo-jumbo’.
“Wow...that’s racist! He should get time served and then sue the city using his race card.”
LOL!!! We’ll see.
yup
As the verdict on each count is read, he’ll yell OBJECTION!
HEARSAY! RELEVANCE!
GROUNZ!
Judge got on him twice, today, for mispronounced words. “Tackit” and “biast”. LMAO!
Funnier than SNL.
The defendant is crazier than a shizzlehouse rat!
I almost spat coffee out on the “biast” smack down.
There, fixed it.
I started watching this trial today.
Darrell Brooks has put too much credence to this adage-—
If the facts are on your side, argue the facts.
If the law is on your side, argue the law.
If neither the facts or law are on your side, just argue.
I’m clearing my schedule for next week. I don’t want to miss a minute when this wraps up on Monday or Tuesday.
It has been mind numbing to watch. His opening statement and (assumed) ‘cross’ will be interesting.
“100 hours community service and a suspended license for 6 months. Isn’t that about what we expect?”
More like time served, and a brand new SUV.
“And he is an utter a$$hole. Won’t last long in jail.”
Yeah, the Aryan Nation types will have their way with him.
“Ignorance of the law is not a defense.”
