...the latest insanity from the "woke" left brings us to Virginia, where state Democrats want to change the child abuse laws to include parents who use improper pronouns, among other things. It's being proposed in the upcoming session of the legislature (via WJLA):
Virginia parents could face a felony or misdemeanor charge if they do not affirm their child’s sexual orientation and gender identity, according to a state lawmaker with plans to introduce the legislation in Virginia's upcoming legislative session.Right now, parents’ rights and LGBTQ protections are a big focus in Virginia.
Thousands of students in Virginia have walked out of class protesting Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s newly proposed model policies on the treatment of transgender students at school.
But Gov. Youngkin argues school districts and school administrators shouldn’t keep parents in the dark about their child’s sexual orientation and gender identities.

It could be a felony, to address your minor child with the “wrong” name or gender pronoun? The daughter you raised insists she is a boy now, and you commit a felony to refer to her as a girl?
I can’t believe some of this talk. It becomes a felony crime to offend the sensibilities of these “transsexual” people????
They’re just downright insane, period. And not just on lgbtq issues.
I vote we take their kids, and lock them up. They’re clearly unfit to be parents. And then we can decide on more permanent ways to fix their infestation of our education system and society. Bet there would be no shortage of State Troopers eager to lock up a bunch of Commie perverts.
What other conclusion could you come to?
Considering that over 45% of men and women who “transition” will attempt suicide. They become so distraught with their choice that they no longer want to live. How is this sane and medically sound? Why are we making their mental state even worse? And why is it a crime to try to stop them from making this horrible decision?
If you think that’s crazy, give the democrats a week or two. They are on a downward spiral. The GOP is standing aside as the democrats are dragging the country with them to hell.

The kids walking out are likely to be the ones vying for spots at top universities. Missing class should affect their GPA and possibly result in no diploma. They will probably still get into their coveted schools, but now they will be schools that accept high dropouts. Parents in China who are preparing to spend big bucks on educating their kids will undoubtedly notice that and choose accordingly. :-)
