Idiotic posturing, non-sequitur nonsense masquerading as compassion. Couldn't they just buy someone a hot meal that needs it? But no. They gotta give poor old Van Gogh an earful.

That can of soup could’ve fed someone who needed it. Idiots.
Are they saying they’ve put glass into the frame as one would for a watercolor painting?

Not that these idiots have two brain cells to rub together anyway, but they should’ve targeted Andy Warhol’s Campbell soup painting.

Oh wow, this pair just beams with intelligence, do they not?
Same level of perspective and consideration as the destroyers of the Afghanistan statues of the Buddha, destroyers of statues of Jefferson, Franklin and Lincoln, Chicago landscape park by Olmstead and so many others!

Museum goers are a softer target. Motorists looking for gas are done putting up with AGW antics.

This is why we cannot have nice things.
I guess they thought it was a “big oil” painting.

Bad journalism. They actually did not throw soup on the painting. It was protected.

Beat them a few times with a stick or a whip and problem solved. It used to work for the Romans.

They could have just done it to a Jackson Pollock painting, no one would have known the difference.

What does Van Gogh do to have his painting throw tomato soup at. Is he a climate denier? Liberals are crazy...
To: Eleutheria5
Climate protesters defaced a Van Gogh painting of sunflowers at London’s National Gallery by throwing cans of tomato soup at it, BBC News reported. Video footage of the Friday incident showed two activists in “Just Stop Oil” T-shirts opening cans of what appeared to be tomato soup.I don't understand: Are they against only sunflower oil, or against olive oil, rapeseed oil, and other vegetable oils, too?

The drug use makes crazy things happen.

So let me get this straight: They want to ban oil, but they also claim to represent "hungry families who “can't even afford to heat a tin of soup."
Let them remain glued to the wall. In fact, put on some additional restraints to keep them there for a really, really long time....

‘two activists in “Just Stop Oil” T-shirts’
What the hell do art museums have to do with the oil industry?
Van Gogh used oil-based paints so they have to destroy them? What about the oil-based polyester in those stupid protesters’ t-shirts?
To: Eleutheria5
Remove the painting, leave them glued to the wall and don’t feed them.🤔

According to the gallery, the painting was under glass and
not damaged. Good, because if they had destroyed it, I'd favor the death
penalty.
People who think they can destroy great works admired by
billions of people, need to flame out.
