Moscow reportedly brought Iranian personnel affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to the occupied regions of Ukraine to train Russian troops to use Iran-made drones.
According to the Ukrainian Resistance Center, Russian forces on Wednesday “brought an unspecified number of Iranian instructors” to the town of Dzankoi in the annexed Crimea, as well as to Zalizniy Port and Hladivtsi in the Kherson region, southern Ukraine. The report claimed this personnel would teach Russian troops how to use Shahed-136 attack drones.
The center also stated that the “Iranian instructors directly control the launch of drones on civilian targets in Ukraine,” including towns in the regions of Odesa and Mykolaiv that have been heavily bombed in recent days after Moscow launched intensified airstrikes across Ukraine in response to the Crimea bridge blast.
“The IRGC is notably the primary operator of Iran‘s drone inventory, so these Iranian instructors are likely IRGC or IRGC-affiliated personnel,” the US-based Institute for the Study of War said in its daily assessment of the Russian offensive campaign on Wednesday.

Didn’t Nostradamus have predictions about Iran and World war in the end times?
The world, especially China, has duly noted that Russia cannot conventionally defend its own territory.
The world, especially China, has duly noted that Russia cannot conventionally defend its own territory.
Yes, China now knows it could overrun Russia in 48 hours. Only the nukes will cause cautious hesitation. Why would they attack Russia though?
China has always coveted Russia’s rich, underpopulated Asian Pacific territories and the treasure house of Siberia. If somehow China were able to negate Russia’s tactical nuclear weapons, these prizes would be much more appealing than trying to invade a hard target Taiwan over 90 miles of open ocean. Both the Russian and Chinese general staffs are war gaming “limited nuclear war” over and over.
Also suspect that Russia and India and possibly Iran covertly will form a military alliance under the Russian nuclear umbrella to counter China. That alliance will have strong sanction free economic ties with Brazil and South Africa.
Zelensky’s had lots of Muslims in Ukraine fighting. ....as soon as he invited “anyone” to fight they went there. Wherever there’s fighting and a paycheck that’s where they go. Been that way for years now.
We know thousands of foreigners flocked to Ukraine to fight. But unlike Ukrainian soldiers, the foreigners still have a lot of freedom to pick whom they team up with and where they fight - pretty obvious there are foreign fighters on both sides fighting in Ukraine.
China won’t be attacking Russia anytime soon. They both still need each other to oppose the West.
Except Russia is China’s only significant ally, even if it is an unofficial alliance of convenience. And China cannot fight the West alone. Even with Russia, they would still be outmatched. But there is no way that China thinks they could stand alone against the West, so until such time as they do think that, they will continue to be allies with Russia, and the Russians also have reached those same conclusions.
Yes, India could change the balance, that’s true. But so far they have been successfully balancing on that fence for a long time...
it applies to both
Moscow yesterday...maybe you've spent too much time at draq queen story hour.
So much for the fiction that Putin is fighting to save Christianity. Bringing in anti-Christian moslems to train Russians to fight and kill Christians is such an irony.
“The world, especially China, has duly noted that Russia cannot conventionally defend its own territory.”
That’s a fact.
“Yes, China now knows it could overrun Russia in 48 hours. Only the nukes will cause cautious hesitation. Why would they attack Russia though?”
Now, that’s an exaggeration. Russia is enormous. It would take no less than three.
