Ukraine turns abandoned Russian weaponry on Putin's forces
ITV News ^ | Oct 12, 2022 | John Ray

Posted on 10/13/2022 12:46:04 AM PDT by UMCRevMom@aol.com

NATO defence ministers met today to discuss the recent wave of Russian missile strikes on Ukraine, and how to continue providing help.

But Russia itself is turning out to be an unexpected source of military hardware.

As Russian troops retreated, recently, they abandoned huge amounts of equipment, including battle tanks.

And as our correspondent John Ray reports, it's all being salvaged and put to good use.

I know, right? The US had to lend lease to those lazy Brits and Russians in WW2, in spite of them making their own stuff. No doubt Roosevelt let Biden take 10% back then too.

Apples and oranges.

Ukraine is not a formalized ally of the US.
Ukraine is not a member of NATO.

But your bringing up Lend Lease which went to allies.
Irony never ends around here......

Formal, informal, who cares. Just say de facto. Like North Vietnam was a de facto ally of the Soviet Union.

Im sure the Soviets werent nitpicking among themselves.

“Lend Lease which went to allies”

“When war broke out in Europe in September 1939, President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared that while the United States would remain neutral in law, he could “not ask that every American remain neutral in thought as well.”

Roosevelt himself made significant efforts to help nations engaged in the struggle against Nazi Germany and wanted to EXTEND A HELPING HAND TO THOSE COUNTRIES THAT LACKED THE SUPPLIES necessary to fight”

The US alone has already spent cumulatively more on Ukraine than the entire Russian military budgets for 2021 and 2022.

All that “Lend Lease” to what avail?

And as this war/conflict goes on and we, the US, keep dumping money into a European corruption blackhole, the more people will wake up to the BS and the BS steadily spouted the media concerning Ukraine....

A Pew Research poll shows that the share of Americans who are extremely or very concerned about a Ukrainian defeat fell from 55 percent in May to 38 percent in September.”

The deep state isnt what you think it is. Its not the satanic version of Sir Humphrey, from “Yes, Minister”. It is a subculture, and though different countries have similar subcultures of the in group vs the out, these are fundamentally different from each other.

The Spanish deep state is, for instance, conservative, not liberal. Thats why Madrid votes PP - their version of the US Republicans.

You have a legitimate deep state beef. But thats just a symptom. Your vastly bigger beef is the cultural-social divide between your subcultures. Thats the fault line along which your coming civil war will run. Other countries really dont have this divide.

In Europe the politics look very different. Eastern Europe hates and fears Russia. Conversely they also dislike “woke”, and resent the political centralizing of the EU. The Polish government, for instance, is effectively “MAGA”, Polish style. MPGA?

They are very much like you, but you lot seem insane to them on the Russian question.

Its kept Ukraine from falling into Russian domination. A pretty cheap result at the price. The US spent even more on Afghanistan, annually, for absolutely no results.

I don't know who're telling the truth.

I'm getting this copy&paste from DebkaFile Hebrew edition.

That is true. Russia sent missiles to attack civilians.

I find Denys Davydov updates accurate and shares both sides. He posts updates at least once daily. Because of his accent, I use closed captioning to help for clarity.

I have no confirmation yet of that information the Head of Russian Intelligence Was Killed in the Kremlin!

I have heard of a great political upheaval in Moscow for Putin & Kremlin. The Russian citizen and small political factions will have their voices heard especially against this “mobilization” one way or another.
