If officials in Florida know who these gang members are and know that they are here illegally, they should just round them up. No due process. No “rights”. These are narco-terrorists pure and simple. I'll go esoteric and say it's the difference between Plato and Aristotle. Plato's Republic is a collection of intellectuals atop a mass of helots who do what they're told and get taken care of at a minimal level. Aristotle's society, by contrast, is primarily middle-class, people who work at taking care of themselves while joining in voluntary groups for mutual benefit--what later thinkers like Burke and Locke supported, and Franklin and Hamilton (and Jefferson, most of the time) wanted America to be.
Aristotle's middle class is easy to work with but difficult to control, and our intellectuals and their political useful idiots, more than anything else, want power and control. Like Milton's Satan, they would rather rule in hell than serve in heaven, so they turn heaven into hell in order to rule.
