Off the record, Saudi wants the war to drag out. Global short supply is great for them.
That said, SA may have miscalculated. If the West spirals into a recession and then depression, they’ll get burned. I don’t mind that, but, another consequence would be millions dying in poor countries. I can’t say I’m pro-life and like that.
