It has been clear that, since the 'patticake' treatment of FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, Durham was planing to leave the FBI duped and innocent. This story of Brian Auten's involvement is important because he has been involved in persecuting Donald Trump since Trump came down the escalator - and he is part of a cabal that is running the FBI, not Chris Wray and not AG Merrick B. Garland! For example, his fingerprints are all over the Mar-a-Lago raid. Did he know Andrew McCabe and Peter Strzok? Think about it!

It's nothing short of bombshell amazing that top officials at the FBI would think that to corroborate national security sensitive allegations and details of an informant's story, dozens if not hundreds of top FBI investigators wouldn't investigate until they wore out their gumshoe soles, but they would
just offer to pay someone $1M bucks more than four years after the FBI had sworn to a court
it was true, even after they had been assured by their source
it wasn't true!
It really sounds as if the FBI was knowingly offering to pay an overwhelmingly attractive sum to the informant to gin up some form of passable-but-known-to-be-false evidence.

Personally, I think it’s going to get really ugly, for a variety of reasons.
Two years ago, I would not have dreamed what this country has become ... as for what happens in the future, all bets are off IMO. Even if Congress goes ‘red’, I don’t trust the Republican’ts ... they’ve shown me nothing, so I don’t hold out much hope for them to right the ship of state.
