We had more damage and fatalities in 1 small town in 1 tornado, last December. And that tornado went on to do a LOT more, too.

Now, I’m not saying that if Russia maintains this pace for a couple months, it won’t add up. But Russia is making a big mistake here: Such campaigns at this sort of modest level rarely subdue a populace. And, Russia is losing focus, not using these munitions on relevant military targets, and yet encouraging Ukraine’s allies to send more and perhaps heavier / longer range weapons. I would not be surprised if that was the Ukies’ calculation.

Quote: “The great arrogance and conceit of DC neocons and MIC is that they think the USA will remain immune from this war. They can happily use Ukraine as a proxy to wage war on Russia, without any blow-back whatsoever.”

I don’t think they care about Russia as the enemy. They just want an enemy that they can sell their weapons to and make their moola. I think that the endless war in Afghanistan and Iraq addicted the defense industry to endless war profits. Oh, look here, another one.

I would hope that AT THE LEAST someone would remember the boundaries of a proxy war. Namely, that it remain proxy. But profit fever can sure cloud judgement.

Don’t laugh too hard. In this day and age even U.S aircraft carriers are expensive sitting ducks.
The Taliban goat humpers had no airforce, no navy and no real hi tech. But they still chased the world’s most powerful military out of Afghanistan.

Russia absolutely has some beautiful women! And weirdly some of the butt ugliest men who’ve ever lived! It’s always mystified me how absurdly beautiful women can churn out ugly sons!

“They can happily use Ukraine as a proxy to wage war on Russia”

Russia started the war in 2014 and if you have a complaint about the reaction of the West, NATO, and Ukraine to Russia’s war please fill out the following form in triplicate:

Vlad is 0 Russia has said it want's a neutral, disarmed Ukraine, not aligned with the EU and not a part of NATO on her border.

There are a lot of stories out that are incorrect, such as

1. NATO “provoked Russia” by “expanding east” - this is false as
a. the countries that joined after 1991 like Poland, the Baltics etc. joined because they feared Russia would invade a non-NATO country (and Russia proved them right in 2008 and 2014/2022)
b. there was no “promise” made not to “expand east” - the only promise made in 1989 to allow for German reunification was for no NATO troops in East Germany. There was no idea that the USSR would collapse

2. NATO was bringing in Ukraine — again false, there was no move for that. Germany and France vetoed it in 2008 and would veto it again, for fear of “provoking Russia”

3. Russia has “legitimate concerns” not to have NATO on its doorstep — Russia already HAD NATO on its borders since 1997. And the Baltics are far closer to St. Petersburg and Moscow than Kyiv is

4. NATO was a belligerent power - again false - NATO was moribund until Putin started his invasion. He’s reinvigorated it.

“fuels the conflict” — it doesn’t “fuel the conflict” - it provides weapons for Ukraine to defend itself against Russia. Ukraine has not launched any artillery or missile attacks on Russia at any stage during this war.

“resolve it” — the resolution is exactly as Sanna Marin said “the war can be resolved if Putin leaves Ukraine”

Vlad is 0 The war is easy to end. It will require Biden again admitting failure, just as he did in Afghanistan

Biden already DID that -- he withdrew the US military before the Russian invasion and sent transportation to take Zelensky out of Kyiv.

If zelensky the comedian had left, Ukraine would have folded

But now it is not about Zelensky, who provided the initial spark of resistance -- Ukrainians are fighting NOT for Zelensky, leave alone Brandon - they are fighting for their homes and loved ones against the invader

It’s amazing to watch conservatives fall for this BS. The deep state has made it clear they have gone to war against conservatives and weaponized the US government against them. They helped steal an election, tried numerous coups against Trump who tried to implement conservative policies and now are prosecuting conservatives for their political beliefs.

Throw in the fact that the same deep state has been a walking clusterf*&^ since Desert Storm. You name it and they have failed and got thousands of Americans killed, wounded or maimed for life: WTC 1993, USS Cole, numerous bombings around the world, 911, Iraq WMD’s, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, ISIS, Egypt and the Afghanistan debacle-20 years no strategy to win and the embarrassing withdrawal with out tail tucked.

After all this hate, screw ups, abuse, failures and out right traitorous and criminal behavior by the deep state we get the Ukraine quagmire. This same bunch of traitors trots out their latest war propaganda and what do some conservatives do, they run to it and eat it up like a dog who hasn’t ate in a week and he’s seeing a 5lb steak tossed out the door to him.
