Democrat Nury Martinez resigned as president of the Los Angeles City Council on Monday, one day after a racist leaked audio recording was released. Martinez issued a statement regarding her resignation as council president, although she will remain a council member.
“I take responsibility for what I said and there are no excuses for those comments. I’m sorry,” she said. Martinez and Councilman Kevin de León faced widespread protests and calls for their resignation after they were caught on the recording making racist comments about Councilmember Mike Bonin, a gay white man, and his adopted black son. The conversation also included Los Angeles County Federation of Labor President Ron Herrera. The meeting was largely focused on redistricting the city, which happens once a decade.
This will teach her a lesson. The lesson is don’t be a hypocritical Democrat. They think they can call anyone who votes against them a Nazi, which is worse than calling someone a monkey.
I thought ALL children were monkeys and ankle biters? Hmmm.
Funny that as a life long conservative this thought never crossed my mind let alone express it.

No surprise that Democrats are uber hypocrites, but all this race crap is such a joke. We have literally 1000’s of race based political, lobbying, social, academic and other groups all based on race. We have rules, laws, admissions, loans and numerous other things all based on race. We talk about the ‘Hispanic vote’, the ‘black vote’ etc yet race is verboten. At least for whites. We are heading into the racial abyss and unfettered immigration will make it all much worse. The center will not hold.

The disgraced white Council woman could have washed away all her racial sins by asserting that her own family had evolved from African monkeys.
If I ever run for President, I am going to claim that I am the first true African-American candidate since I believe the Out-of-Africa theory of human beings is completely plausible.

It’s a little sad, as I was often called “Monkey” by my dad and I am very white.
Little kids act like monkeys, it is cute, they climb and mug and run around. It is not necessarily a racist comment.
