Fears were raised today that Belarus could join the conflict in Ukraine after President Alexander Lukashenko announced he will deploy a 'joint military task force' with Russia on the country's western border.
The dictator said this was in response to what he said was a clear threat to Belarus from Kyiv and its backers in the West, claiming without evidence that that Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine were training Belarusian 'radicals' for terror attacks, after announcing plans to deploy joint troops with Moscow.

'Strikes on the territory of Belarus are not just being discussed in Ukraine today, but are also being planned,' Lukashenko said at a meeting on security, without providing evidence for the assertion.
'Their owners are pushing them to start a war against Belarus to drag us there.'
'We have been preparing for this for decades. If necessary, we will respond,' Lukashenko said, adding that he had spoken to Putin about the situation while at a meeting in St Petersburg.
-snip-
'My answer was simple: 'Tell the president of Ukraine and the other lunatics: if they touch one metre of our territory then the Crimean Bridge will seem to them like a walk in the park'.'
He also claimed Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine were training Belarusian 'radicals' to carry out terror attacks in his country.
'The training in Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine of Belarusian radical militants for them to carry out sabotage, terrorist attacks and to organise a military mutiny in the country is becoming a direct threat,' Lukashenko said.

Russia is running out of missiles. This is clear from how they aren’t using missiles to strategically take out Ukrainian troops retaking the Donbas and Kherson.
Russia wasn’t running out of standard artillery. They were running out of PGMs (Precision Guided Munitions). Not that they didn’t have any more, but their stock, reliant on Western-made chips, was running low and Russia was reticent to expend them too quickly.
Of course, now Kyiv has come under heavy missile bombardment, as a punitive action for Ukraine having the audacity to fight back. Russia’s little hissy fit, targeting civilian infrastructure like museums, will accomplish exactly 0 military objectives and expend more of the PGMs Russia already doesn’t have enough of.
The missiles they had left were highly imprecise so could have landed on their own troops, hence the reliance on artillery instead. But even the imprecise missiles are running out, hence their paucity.
All of these failures are due to Putin’s and his oligarchs corruption, taking away money in the past 22 years of Putin’s dictatorship away from the military
If your idol is Jesus then you should be opposing the war and telling Putin to withdraw troops.
Do you want the war to end? Then tell putin to leave Ukraine
Propaganda is you supporting a nazi dictator Putin who has ruled for 22 years and has invaded his neighbours.
Why do you support Putin’s invasion of Ukraine?
Education fails you cause some of us know exactly who the real neo-Nazis’ are. Your just stuck on stupid denial.
The real Nazis are the Wagner group in Putin’s army that you support.
You support the Nazi dictator Putin.
22 years absolute dictatorship
Subordinated industry to the state
Military jingoism
Created a myth of the dear leader
Talks of the racial and cultural superiority over his neighbours.
That’s Putin, the nazi dictator who you support in his invasion of Ukraine
Do you want the war to end? Then tell putin to leave Ukraine
It escapes you that is not going to happen till Ukraine capitulates?
The time for talks occurred weeks and months ago, before the US/UK/NATO sabotaged two possible peace deals.
You tell ‘em
the only long term solution to Russian imperialism is the dissolution of the Russian empire. With any luck, the destruction of the Russian military on Ukraine’s battlefields will speed that process along.
Although I do think something has happened there. There was a period where even the Ukrainians acknowledged that absolutely massive Russian artillery barrages were forcing them to give ground in the Donbass. But not so much anymore. I think some combination of 1) worn out tubes; 2) lack of reliable ammo; and 3) HIMARs has degraded Russian artillery significantly.
I think that if they cross the border there is going to be a response kinetically
It apparently escapes you that that is not going to happen. Russia, through its own actions, has succeeded in convincing Ukraine that this is a war for national survival. Any negotiated settlement that results in the surrender of Ukrainian territory would only delay the inevitable Russian conquest of the entire country. On top of that, the killing of civilians and destruction of civilian infrastructure has stoked Ukrainian hatred towards the Russians.
So, they'd rather fight right to the end then surrender to russia. If you want to take Ukraine, you're going to have to take Kyiv itself.
That doesn’t show in the way you spam and troll in your online personality, look at your posts and troll/hijack behavior as thread after thread is made unreadable as you troll people and turn the threads into insult battles and useless comebacks and digs.
If we’re invaded by Lower Slobovia, the pro-Slobovia parties will be banned. You can turn to WW2 for examples.
The war will end when your idol, the nazi dictator Putin withdraws troops from Ukraine
Poland wants western Ukraine.
NATO is not at war — not formally — but it fueled the conditions leading to the conflict, and now it fuels the conflict without seeming to know how to resolve it without expanding the conflict’s scope — and the attendant risk of a nuclear exchange even if only by mistake. I see the similarities in that our current leaders don’t seem to be any more cautious, wise or prudent now than their predecessors were then.
NATO did not “fuel the conditions leading to the conflict”
There are a lot of stories out that are incorrect, such as
1. NATO “provoked Russia” by “expanding east” - this is false as
a. the countries that joined after 1991 like Poland, the Baltics etc. joined because they feared Russia would invade a non-NATO country (and Russia proved them right in 2008 and 2014/2022)
b. there was no “promise” made not to “expand east” - the only promise made in 1989 to allow for German reunification was for no NATO troops in East Germany. There was no idea that the USSR would collapse
2. NATO was bringing in Ukraine — again false, there was no move for that. Germany and France vetoed it in 2008 and would veto it again, for fear of “provoking Russia”
3. Russia has “legitimate concerns” not to have NATO on its doorstep — Russia already HAD NATO on its borders since 1997. And the Baltics are far closer to St. Petersburg and Moscow than Kyiv is
4. NATO was a belligerent power - again false - NATO was moribund until Putin started his invasion. He’s reinvigorated it.
“fuels the conflict” — it doesn’t “fuel the conflict” - it provides weapons for Ukraine to defend itself against Russia. Ukraine has not launched any artillery or missile attacks on Russia at any stage during this war.
“resolve it” — the resolution is exactly as Sanna Marin said “the war can be resolved if Putin leaves Ukraine”
Poland doesn’t want western Ukraine — not the Polish government, nor the Polish people.
crz beats his wife and kids — that has as much validity as your statement i.e. none (I hope)
Poland wants western Ukraine.
