Danchenko, a Russian analyst, was a source of information for Christopher Steele, a former British spy who was paid by Democrats to research ties between Russia and presidential candidate Donald Trump. The compilation of research files, which included salacious rumors and unproven assertions, came to be familiarly known as the “Steele dossier.”

Of course, the FBI (or was it the CIA?) told him to lie to the FBI.

This pretty much sums it up: ”… the Danchenko trial seems likely to be the last criminal case his team will bring.”

Love this thread. The Putinistas are obviously short circuiting and showing some sympathy for Danchenko. ;)

So when is the FIB going to be charged with lying to the American people and President Trump and Congress?

It’s not only legal for the FIB to lie, it’s encouraged.
A more villainous nexus of scumbqaggery is hard to find.

The FBI is shocked that their informant falsified the information they had every reason to believe he would falsify when they hired him.

Danchenko is Ukrainian. He did live many years in Moscow. The friends he talked to in bars exchanging gossip about Donald Trump, are also Ukrainian. Neither Danchenko nor his friends were in any position to know any details about Donald Trump, personal or governmental. The FBI knew all this when the FBI paid Danchenko to perjure himself.

Should be a great trial, as they (mostly liars no doubt) probe what a liar told liars about other liars.

No, are you kidding? What’s the point?

The judge has already disallowed much of the evidence probably because the FBI and CIA claim it would exposed secret matters of one sort or another, of course.
