As great as the potential of electric cars may be, always remember that if the left wants them, the desire is NOT based on science.

Florida should ban electric cars.
That’d be funny.

Not a problem as there is hardly any salt water near the USA.
Insurance will not insure if everytime an electric vehicle gets wet that it is a total loss.

There was a white paper on the hazardous airborne material from EV fires the covered firefighters’ fire suits that was not being addressed..

Going to be interesting when all the gulf
states ban electrics.
I’d also be curious how salted roads in
states of colder climates affect batteries
as well.

Outlaw them.
And watch the Left collapse on itself like a dying star.

Electric cars are a niche, nothing more. Anything more than a niche becomes a totalitarian nightmare devoid of any risk management analyses.

Sounds like the engineers who designed and built these electric cars didn't think everything through.

And everyone should keep an eye out for waterlogged gasoline cars being sold as well.
That’s not pretty, either.

I wish he’d cited some statistics on the EVs in the Florida flooding. I haven’t seen a picture of a flooded EV spouting flames or whatever he claims happens.
To: Jacquerie
Hard to tell how big a threat EV fires pose to the public.
Not every EV catches fire, obviously. How many were flooded, and how many of those burned? Is a hard driving rain enough, or does it take total immersion, or just moist salty air? Can the batteries be rendered safe by discharging or disconnecting them?
Will we see Insurance companies denying payouts or coverage because the homeowner has an EV on the property? That would kill the EV boom, fer sure.
