The former Texas Department of Public Safety trooper reportedly under investigation for her actions while responding to the Robb Elementary shooting who was hired as a police officer for Uvalde CISD was terminated Thursday.
Crimson Elizondo was seen in footage of the May 24 tragedy at Robb Elementary School and was one of the first troopers to arrive at the school in response to the shooting.

Elizondo resigned and landed a police officer position with Uvalde CISD, prompting community outage and heightened criticism of district officials. CNN’s reporting about the controversial hire led to Uvalde CISD firing Elizondo.

Elizondo arrived at Robb Elementary two minutes after an 18-year-old gunman entered the school. But instead of pursuing the assailant, she retreated and joined the eventual army of nearly 400 law enforcement officers who waited 77 minutes to kill the shooter.

But diversity is our strength, right? Now the word is that the entire school district force has been suspended. Crazy stuff. The poor families there are getting gut punched non-stop by these fools.
Elizondo was also caught on her bodycam saying that if it were her kid in the classroom she’d go in after the gunman. But since the kids in there weren’t hers she was indifferent.
I’m sure she was also offended at the mom who did go in and rescue her own kids.
My God. And the school district hired her? Did they do any background check at all? Maybe the mayor and the school superintendent should be pressured to resign too.
But, but, but. Crimson Elizondo! Just the name checks so many boxes. Affirmative Action. Quota hire. Political correctness. Woke hiring. Female. Minority. How could they EVER let such a precious jewel go? It’s a mystery I tell ya, a gol darned mystery for the ages!

There seems to be a lot of incompetence in Uvalde.
A DPS Trooper after one year probationary status makes $82K a year, can’t imagine why she would hire on as a local LEO.
She was run out of the Texas Rangers (Texas State Police) and was hired by the Chief of Uvalde, probably in the hopes she could pull strings and get the Texas Rangers, who were running the investigation, to go easy on the Uvalde cops.
I heard that the entire police department has been fired, as of this morning.

Holy carp! 400 LEOS!? None did anything? Even the wimpy actors playing LEOs on TV would have done more than that.
