I have a strong faith that my government is incapable of doing the right thing. It will be the US.

And it’s the left’s fault.

They WANT a war. The better to control the masses and reduce population by.

It was Khrushchev who decided he didn’t want to go down in history as the destroyer of civilization. If you read the detailed history of the Cuban Missile Crisis, you would see that Kennedy nearly got us all killed. He did this mainly out of ignorance. The US jammed all communications between Moscow and Cuba. That left the missile battery commanders on their own. Here is the snag: US forces can use nuclear warheads only through permission from the President. Russian forces can use nuclear warheads at the discretion of battery commanders. Those are usually lieutenants or captains, junior officers. Those young officers had no idea what was going on in the rest of the world. For all they knew there could have been a full-scale war going on between the US and the Soviets. Those missiles were erected, fueled, guidance spun up, targeting data entered, hot and ready to launch. Junior officers saved our souls.

It would have been much better for all involved if we had that nuclear war.

I believe that Russia is a threat not because it is a conventionally strong nuclear power as people like Colonel MacGregor are arguing, contrary to accumulating evidence, but precisely because they are what they have been exposed to be, a very weak conventional power inferior in land sea and air to NATO but perhaps the world's most dangerous nuclear power.

This means that the author' s understanding of Russia is inverted. Russia is dangerous precisely because it is out of conventional options and, naked, is left with only the nuclear option.

Similarly, I believe the author's worldview is inverted. It is China that poses the existential threat to America but it is China that has insinuated itself into and co-opted every vital American institution. Therefore, Trump was not ousted because he was too friendly to Russia but because he attempted to protect America against the threat of China. Trump was breaking rice bowls. It doesn't matter if one considers Congress, the media, Wall Street, big tech, big sports or the Black Rocks of the world, China rules!

It may well be possible that the left actually regards Russia as a threat or rather as a bogeyman capable of doing what China actually does, suborn American institutions to the extent that it could control, for example, American elections in 2016. Hillary pushed this to the limit and it might well have infected the American left who simply could not abide the election of Donald Trump.

The Biden ministration has a very odd way of displaying "hegemonic hubris," rather it is consistently displayed a sniveling, craven foreign policy of appeasement to China and, yes, a certain arrogance toward Russia but those slights hardly justify describing and extolling, " Putin’s deference to international law." That is a stretch that is impossible for a rational person to swallow. Putin has been invading and murdering his way through country after country whenever he smelled weakness.

The encroachment by NATO eastward may have been foolish but it does not justify a Russian invasion of Ukraine. Nor does Ukraine corruption justify a Russian invasion of Ukraine, full stop.

A nuclear exchange over Ukraine is not to be disregarded, not because it is so likely but because it is so devastating. The degree that it is likely is not so much by Western or American aggressiveness toward Russia but by Russia's manifest conventional military hollowness. Yet, because a nuclear exchange would be so devastating, every effort should be made to conclude this war.

But the overall foreign policy of the United States must be rescued from its inverted state, that is, we must recognize China as the principal enemy, understand that the war with Ukraine is debilitating the United States and weakening us vis-à-vis China and likely to help destroy the dollar and plunge America into a depression.

Our relationship with Russia is primarily a domestic Democrat problem, not a Jewish problem, not a military/industrial complex problem as the author asserts but one of domestic politics. Likewise, our problem with China is fatally compromised by our domestic politics that unfortunately infects both political parties and every major and vital American institution.

"It's a ploy. The money being sent to Ukraine for weapons is being used for SOME weapons but the majority is being laundered and directed to private numbered accounts elsewhere.

Now THAT I do believe to be true.. What's taking place just could be the biggest heist in the history of the world.. Or not...

We need to pay close attention to the where abouts of the political elites. When we see them taking off for their bunkers in New Zealand, we'll know the truth of the matter..

FJB appears to have developed a Kennedy-complex along with his retardedness. Not a good combination for a demonstrably evil man like FJB.

If you still have time before you’re incinerated, read, “The Guns of August” about how we got the First World War when nobody at all wanted it.

Rather sounds a lot like the Bush-Powell dire warnings about Hussein and his weapons of mass destruction.

Political hyperbole?

Putin has been threatening for 6 months.

Sabre rattling?

The same will apply if a tactical nuclear weapon is used. We will never know who actually deployed it. Each side will blame the other. They can use each other’s weapons as well to “stage” things.

Supposedly the uranium-plutonium triggers have a unique "fingerprint" from the processing facility that made them. But in the rush to war that information will be suppressed.

So, the point remains....we will never know the truth.

Point taken. Why can’t we simply take them at their word? Biden, Nuland, and even Ron Johnson publicly stated they would stop or wanted to stop the pipeline. Blinker’s “look on the bright side” speech all but admits our guilt. The disinformation to blame this on Russia is astounding to me. But the Public’s willingness to believe the misinformation is even more astounding.
