Most of them will not make the connection between the way they vote and the fact that the crime problem will not be seriously addressed.

But it would never occur to them to vote Republican, as if that would make any difference.

Nobody doesn’t get elected when people sit out. The only way to keep someone out of office is to give the other person enough votes to beat them.
