No that’s funny. Even if he was scared, 2026 is a lifetime from now. I just think he hates being in the minority of the Senate. They don’t get to do anything.
Life as a squishy moderate is getting more difficult. The Dems have gone so far off the deep end, there are not many deals he can cut. Being a University President will be far more interesting and personally fulfilling.
They don’t do anything when in the majority either. They just help their so called opposition to move forward their agenda.
